New "About" Description...

Hey folks,

Been doing some house cleaning and I just wanted to draw your attention to the newly revamped description for this page under the "About" section for this patreon. It's been around two years since I first opened this page and I figured that, now that I actually have felt the benefits of patreon, it was time for a rewrite.

"Hello! My name is Adam de Souza and I'm an illustrator and cartoonist.

For over the past year I've been working on my award-winning (and losing) comic strip Blind Alley as well as a currently unannounced graphic novel.

The support from patrons has been absolutely vital in allowing me to create windows of time between projects to explore Blind Alley. This strip wouldn't be what it is without my patrons and I am incredibly grateful to them. Patreon has afforded me the opportunity to cling closely to Blind Alley and not feel pressured to search for publishers or syndicates to aid in getting it out there.

Aside from supporting Blind Alley, it's been wonderful to have a space to share my personal thoughts and opinions on my process, work, and any subject I have fancied to write about. It's beneficial for me, creatively, to have a "walled garden" of sorts where I can share work more personally then I am willing to in my social media feeds as well.

It's now been over two years since I launched this Patreon and the part it plays in my practice is ever increasing. I look forward to growing it with you!"

Anyways - thanks again for the continued support. It really has meant the world to me!
