For just one thing, I can't help but wonder if panel five doesn't tie in to that scene we saw some time ago with him coming home from school and calling for his mom, but the house seemed to be empty. And....is that...Penny?? If it is, that's certainly a twist. No idea what that's all about, but that would seem to open up a strange can of worms. What kind of sordid backstory could there be between him and a perfectly friendly dog? Incidentally, I'd spent all this time thinking Oliver was a blond. XD
