She was observing the battle from above when she got hit by the blast. I think shes not much bigger than Ramiris in size so she got vaporized.

He is acting out of desperation, Laplace already thought and kind of said it to him. It’s not the whole thing but I think it’s part of it. It’s too soon to tell you how strong he is, especially relative to the other Demon Lords. Master of immorality, not master of immortality. Rimuru is a True Demon Lord, which means he has awakened. It’s partly the fact that the original Japanese is translated in different ways in different places; it is not consistent between the anime, the LN, the manga, and other translations. But awakening as a True Demon Lord is somewhat of a process. It is initially marked by the Harvest Festival, but there is development afterwards, which can last for quite a long time. In Tensura, they make a point that Skills need to be understood, practiced, and experience in battle refines it. Rimuru’s body changed into something much more spiritual in nature, and I think we’re at the point where he has no natural lifespan, although he can be killed. He has a lot more protections now, resistances, but it is important to train up those Skills. Fortunately, he is diligent about it, thinks about how to use them, and has the advice of Raphael to help him along. Also the fact that these are now Ultimate Skills is important. Demon Lords have a club of sorts, as LaLa put it. That doesn’t mean anything about whether they are awakened or not, some of them are not even Demon Lord Seeds (this is also called Class). Btw, it’s not demon seed. Rimuru didn’t become a demon. He did become demonic in nature. It means something very specific, but I have to look up precisely what that is, since I don’t remember exactly. Anyway, I am myself confused about calling it a seed, because sometimes it seems that the “seed” is a discrete thing, but they also tell us it is an indicator of magicule volume, Skills and “other requirements” to evolve into a Demon Lord. However, even those with Seeds are technically Demon Lords, and can be called Demon Lords. The club, on the other hand, is not automatic for any type of Demon Lord, you need to force your way in, or be invited. It is a sort of political position. Unless you are “in the club”, they won’t let you call yourself a Demon Lord publicly.

Yes, Rimuru is a TRUE Demon Lord. He acquired the seed when he consumed the original Orc Lord Geld, who himself had just eaten enough souls to hit the first stage of being a Demon Lord. They haven't explained it in the anime but the LN lets us know that Clayman has indeed killed a metric fuckton of people. However as you've seen you need to do more than just murder a bunch of people to activate the ritual. The Words of the World also plays a huge part. But, simple answer, yes Rimuru is a True Demon Lord and Clayman isn't. He's more like the Orc Lord, a level 1, Demon Lord in name, not AWAKENED. 2. Have no fear, the battles are indeed coming in fast and plentiful. They also pan out in some unexpected ways, as per usual in Tensura. 😅 3. Ramaris is absolutely hilarious, and you can see why the others would brush her off. Even Rimuru isn't paying attention to the more important details of her visit. Like Veldora didn't get upset about her telling everyone she could take him on. The dryads are all over her like a rash and are already extremely loyal to her. She liked Rimuru enough on fist meeting to take his side without even knowing that Clayman was lying. She even wants to move the very hidden entrance to her labryth to Tempest. If you recall from when you met her in season 1 she flat out tells Rimuru her purpose on the planet and that she is so small because she had to reincarnate. So she's still very much growing. Of course, that doesn't mean she isn't a giant goofball. 😆 But, details matter in this world, and Ramaris comes with eons worth. When the time comes, watch how the other Demon Lords interact with her. It's a good gage of their own character and strength. 4. Shion definitely did NOT cook the meal, nor did she carryout an interrogation. 🤣 Chris nailed it. The prisoners aren't dead, but they undoubtedly wish they were. Also as far a secretaries go... Shion should not be one. Honestly at this point it's more about keeping her from throwing a fit. She really is more like Rimuru's bodyguard. Luckily there are plenty of people who help fill the secretary role. 5. Your observations about Clayman and his motives are very intuitive. 6. Rimuru's invite... well I guess it would be more polite to talk about someone to their face than behind their back. 😅 He might be a Demon Lord, but obviously he isn't part of the club. For now I believe he can live with being a +1. 7. It's understandable you had reservations about Diablo, he IS a demon after all. But yeah, the more you see him the more you'll see it'd be more likely he'd incinerate the world than he would let Rimuru get so much as a hang nail. 😂 Anyhoo, I hope some of that helped.
