The recap episode at least puts everything in a straight time line so you can follow the progression of Tanya (so far). Being X just selected Tanya as a test subject, consider her a pilot program to restore faith in others. You know Being X just will not just stop meddling with Tanya, but she digs herself into situations without Being X meddling also. Once you succeed with an impossible mission more impossible missions will be assigned to you, as Tanya will find out.
