NOBODY STEALS FROM NAZARICK! | OVERLORD SEASON 3 EP.8 (FIRST TIME REACTION)

I think if girlie with the siblings woulda saved the group if she stayed, or rather- if every party member (possibly for every party) stood their ground despite the death they so boldly said they’d risk like 2 episodes before - would have let them live

Excellent freakin observations! I agree with you about Ainz. He does seem to weigh out his options a lot more than the others when it comes to how his decisions affect those around him. Such a good freaking anime. Thank you for the extra info and lore!

The collar that Ainz and the lizardmen were wearing was for exp boost. Ainz whated to know if he could gain more exp by killing them. Also rememeber everything in overlord has a reason even if you don't see it you will. All the other seasons lead into each other. I can't wait for your reactions for the later ep. and next season.

The biggest thing i always got from Overlords setting its not so much good and / vs evil. Its more about living your life by your own rules. A lot of that can be seen in this episode. - Ains is defending his home, however he setup the home invasion to start with, so does he have the morale high ground ? - the sisters in the end are a unforeseen side effect and as already posted come to a really bad end, but is that his doing, they had free will and picked money over safty (as he asked them as momon, is this worth your lives ? ) ? For me the character of Ains is not so much a Evil person, he is a person that makes his choices and lives with the consequences. He is not like Demiurge who goes out of his way to create suffering where he can while doing what he "needs" to do (and yes Demiurge score is -500 karma that was the lowest score possible in the game +500 to -500 karma). So i like the way the series makes you think about morality in a world that is to start with amoral. Like the ending anybody that know hunters or butchers will tell you that, yes, you use as much of the animal as you can, let nothing go to waste, but when you apply that logic to a human is that still a "good" thing ? P.S. if this already made you have this discussion then your in for a treat in the future. P.P.S. Aura is a collector of beasts and monsters the dragon as far as i know is her "pet".

Knowing what happened to Arche's twin sisters after all of that makes it even more grim. Their parents sold them into slavery and they eventually died from overwork. When you think you've been slapped in the face hard enough, overlord lore takes it to another level and hits you with a truck. Also, keep doing a great job as you guys usually do!

I love how deep the lore is in this show! So much extra beauty to be found! Just as simple as creating a sparkling night sky because you miss it in the real world.

Ahhhhh I see!! That makes a lot more sense why Ainz exploded with rage then. Glad to know about the collars too, that is so damn cool. Yess, that quote is freaking so badass I almost put it in the description because it just hits so hard!

Good god, they pull no punches in Overlord

So the 6th floor with the colosseum is underground. Aside from the Colosseum, there's like plains and forests obviously, but the most striking feature is that beautiful sky. Another guild member called Blue Planet made it. Something about wanting to simulate what the earth's sky once looked like in the past. In Ainz' dystopian dump of a world there's way too much pollution in the air to see any stars at all...

The fate of Arche's twin sisters is pretty grim. iirc, they become victims of Human Trafficking or something.

Hekkeran screwed up,Yggdrasil players and guild members would use Ainz' old guild name Momonga, by lying to Ainz and giving him a momentary hope of a guild member showing up their punishment will now be extreme. the collars allow extra gains in experience, Ainz is trying to see if he can break the level 100 cap. Ainz is fighting to improve his physical skills so Momon will be a better swordsman. The pose Ainz struck is the same one he struck as Momon inviting Clementine to attack. The line has finally been said: " In Nazarick death is a mercy that frees you from suffering." After Arche's death her body was parceled out to those just named, Entoma is using her vocal cords now.
