IMHO when he asked if they got paid enough to risk their lives, he was asking if it would /only/ cost 2k gold to make strong people risk their lives for something they don’t care about Honestly don’t know though, haven’t finished the latest season and had to rewatch with yalls reactions since I forgot most plot points at this point 🤣

2023-07-26 01:37:50 +0000 UTCThe overlord universe has some weird mechanics when it comes to language. Anything spoken is automatically translated for anyone listening. So from the perspective of the listener, the speaker’s lips and words might not line up. Why is this the case? Not sure, maybe someone cast a really powerful spell in the past. That said, it doesn’t affect written language. Ainz and the NPCs couldn’t read the New World’s language when they came to the world, so the anime should have invented a new written system that’s not one of our world’s languages.

The Katze Plains are where the annual battle between the Kingdom and the Empire occurs and many dead from those battles are left on those plains and can spawn low level undeads, if the undead concentration is high enough high level undead will spawn thus wild Death Knights. Nazarick is beginning to take off the gloves. Beware an old man in a young man's profession. The workers just told Ainz they are burglars after the money important data for the future. Prepare yourselves.
