Season 3A Magnus and Alec are my absolute favourite, they're so cute and domestic and finally a functional couple. Also in the books Magnus didn't want Alec to know who his father was, because it was a big deal, since Asmodeus is a prince of Hell and Magnus was ashamed and scared that Alec might react badly. It actually took 6 books for him to finally tell Alec (he was on the verge of death by the way) and Alec was like 'why would you think I'd start treating you any differently? I am literally in love with you'. Plus Lorenzo doesn't even exist in the books, and even if he's kind of an ass, I still like his character and I'm glad the show added him for funsies (and to torture Magnus).

2024-07-16 23:16:44 +0000 UTCWhat I like about the show is that they use an episode to do world building and give us some background, which makes sense to further storyline. I like that this showed the gang as normal couples going to social events and dates, doing cute couple things. If Asmodeus is a prince that would make Magnus a prince and with Alec being from one of the prominent shadowhunters families, they make quite the power couple in the shadow world 😉 Alec is right. Lorenzo is an ass and arrogant at that 🙄
