2022-08-03 08:20:21 +0000 UTCyou know what's weird, i have honestly forgotten that Clarke is a medic, like she was on her way to doctor like her mom was and the last time we actually got to see her do that was during s1, like sure there were some bits and pieces of it here and there but since s6? absolutely nothing, nothing of her trying to heal people, which is interesting considering the number of people that she's k-worded. it could've been a GREAT storyline for her to be uncomfortable treating people after it because she believes that after all the death, if she tries to help someone medically it'll end badly, like some cosmic irony that she'll never again be able to save people, only kill them. it could've been an interesting thing to develop for her and then move forward and get back to being a medic/doctor in her future. the idea that the ending could've been peace where humans are back on earth (more than 9 of them, like everyone, Sanctum and Bardo, go back to Earth), and instead of leading them, Clarke studies and works with Jackson and they work as doctors and healers for them. it would've been so much better, a nice circle on her getting to do what her mom did, a nice circle back to s1 Clarke, and finally, a great twist of the Commander of Death getting to treat the wounded and save people instead of killing them.

This show is still a good show for me excluding this season of course and I haven’t let this season ruin it for me since there were some really solid seasons of this show and good plot points etc. The only things I really like about this season are Murphy, he is just one of the best characters on this show, Indra getting more screentime this season was great, Jr bourne is a terrific actor as always, I loved Gabriel and feel like his character had so much potential (ofc they ruined that too), & just my fav characters in general. Excluding what they did to Bellamy this season. Thankfully it’s almost over just gotta push through.

2022-08-02 22:55:39 +0000 UTCClarke lying out of her ass saying she had to kill Bellamy and she tried everything she could when she left the fucking book was absolute bullshit and what made it worse was Octavia and Echo/Ash's reaction to that and the fact that they were okay with it just made my blood boil and made me absolutely pissed off. Your reaction to that scene was absolutely perfect and i love you for it Jer, you not only validated my feelings but a lot of other peoples about that scene. we thank you for feeling our pain. Madi was absolutely spitting facts about Bellamy, Clarke ruining her life and her own. I absolutely loved her for that. the absolute anger i felt seeing Gabriel getting brutally stabbed the way he was by Sheidheda, another male of colour getting brutally murdered after Bellamy, another male of colour was shot down in cold blood. you can see Jason Rothenberg has a pattern now of killing the people of colour on his show in brutal ways, first Lincoln, then Bellamy and now Gabriel. Now you know why a majority of the fandom calls Jason a racist piece of shit because he is. Though what angered me more is the fact that Gabriel literally saved Madi's life and Clarke is more fucking concerned with Madi and her safety than the man who's lying on the floor bleeding out from the multiple stab wounds he took saving her daughter's life and is actively dying and doesn't give a shit till the last minute. I absolutely love Gabriel and i was saddened by his death but i was angrier that he got a proper death, got the traveler's blessing, and was surrounded by people but Bellamy didn't get any of that. He died alone, thinking everyone he loved and cared about hated him, he died bleeding out with his body left alone in Sanctum's palace, just forgotten. and now Madi has gone and turned herself so no one else dies for her, leading herself straight to Cadogan, to the man who didn't give a shit that Bellamy died and basically his death was for nothing and he died in vain. the next episode is going to make me so incredibly pissed for that reason and you'll find out why.
