The 100 - 7x13 "BLOOD GIANT" UNCUT Reaction

the way you actually stood up and left for a good three minutes or more, that was pure gold, that is exactly how we all felt watching this mess

caroline h.

Big mood for all this

Jeremy Glenn

I agree with you

Jeremy Glenn

I don't blame you, everything I'm learning about behind the scene stuff is just sad

all i can say is FUCK JASON ROTHENBERG! This racist, vile, petty and spiteful excuse of a white man didn't like the fact that Bob chose his mental health (which he was dealing with healing from his knee surgery, him and Eliza losing their first child through a miscarriage, and a few other things but those are the biggest two) over his "precious" show. Bob didn't want that storyline for Bellamy, he hated it and expressed that after this show was over. He hated the whole season because he hasn't watched this season and season 6 because of the things he's gone through during those seasons, especially at that man's hands. A man who actively chose to fuck over his show and the characters with this poor excuse of a season so that he could get his prequel that didn't even greenlit.

Gotta answer your questions though, no he wasn't injured at that time, he was injured the season before (two knee surgeries) which is why he had stunts running for him in season 6, however that injury+ Eliza's miscarriage probably (she was supposed to direct an episode but couldn't because of it) + other shit that went down in his life really screwed up his mental health and he needed mandatory time off, the showrunner used that as an excuse to completely destroy Bellamy, making it worse by making Clarke kill him, that was never what was meant to happen, there were 4 script changes during that time, it wasn't even about another project because Bob had some projects before which they wouldn't let him do because he asked them for one or two days off work, they said nope, so he couldn't really film outside the 100 mostly, so anyways yeah just a way the showrunner wanted to rub it in, maybe it was them getting married that pissed him off?? Anyways it was petty

Dai

wow... I really think I must have blocked this season out of my memory bc while I knew this stuff happened, but I don't remember actually seeing it played out and being this dumbfounded lolol

jay luna

Jer, your reaction was one of the first times I laughed about all this fiasco. Also, you gotta see what they do with his character next, trust me that is not the end of screwing him over, smh

Dai

Yeah actually also Bob was very vocal about hating the way Jason baited both sides of the shipping spectrum and dangled a rope in front of them basically, since Bellarke was supposed to become something in 6x11 ( not spoilers anymore I guess) but they changed route- actually they were supposed to become something every season (except 4 I think) but when they asked Bob if he wanted to do it, he said "no" because he didn't want his character to be defined as the love interest, and it would be too quick (Eliza was fine with it) Then Jason came out and after baiting the Bellarke fandom for years with "you never know", "platonic soulmates" and talking about them having chemistry unlike anyone on the show, he came out to say "you misinterpreted it"... which ultimately led to Bob's tweet about being one of the people who misinterpreted it too.

Dai

I don't care what ship you were on.. NO ONE was expecting Clarke to KILL Bellamy. It COMPLETELY ruined the dynamic of the show. What were we building towards this whole time, only to let it go to shit??

Also you can tell the acting went down this season because they didn’t believe in their characters story anymore

I hadn’t heard this, that actually pisses me off that they voiced their concerns. You’d think the writers would see how bad it is but instead they wanted a Game of Thrones type twist with oh you thought they’d end up together no he dies

Character suicides all around this season so terrible! I've seen other reactors and people who watch completely just stop watching. It is just such a disappointing ending to a great show.

Both Bob & Eliza were dealing with a loss and Bob requested time off this season. However there were also issues behind the scenes with Bob and the show runner. Neither Bob nor Eliza liked the direction they were taking their characters and Bob was very vocal about it. He's posted videos about it. Both Bob and Eliza were told from the beginning of the show to play their roles with each other as romantic. So this made absolutely no sense. It is my belief that the show runners were determined to rune Bellamy and Clarke's characters even if it destroyed their show just out of spite. Personally idk if I've ever been more upset by an episode.

Mimi Kannisto

lol I feel that πŸ’€πŸ˜

This is my first rewatch of 7 and it’s even worse the 2nd time
