Yes!! It's amazing how he really tries to downplay his degree of intelligence in a most humble way possible while having spent may years worshipped as a God. I can imagine it would be difficult playing these internal tug of wars. But then again so many of our main cast have been in internal conflicts this season. Which has made for some really amazing character development to watch. One of the reasons I love this season so much.

2022-07-14 22:59:18 +0000 UTCThis episode was very well acted especially once Clarke returns to the castle, in walks the new Lee's and Abby/Simone. Clarke, Abby, Murphy, Gabriel's actors as well as Jr just nailed those scenes. Amazing costume choices and make up to add the extra touches. I also did love how Gabriel spoke up only to offer himself as a temporary grief punching bag as she learned about her mothers death without breaking character.

2022-07-14 22:31:44 +0000 UTCI get how you feel about the season finales, and it really is just a preference, I think because most would still agree on the 2nd to last, usually being the "heavier" episode at the end. I found them oddly comforting? I feel like when I first watched this show, I was actually over the emotional grip/manipulation of intense season cliffhangers, and it was kinda nice to have a show that always took one episode at the end to settle as many season-specific storylines as they can

2022-07-14 21:52:55 +0000 UTCAbby's death was a long time coming at that point. It was so well executed though, loved the slo-mo. But was it time? Absolutely. Also, interesting how much our opinions differ. While this is a good season, it's far from phenomenal for me, but that's just my opinion! :P It did feel like a finale though!
