[Public] Devlog #2
Added 2023-11-16 13:00:20 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Sorry to keep you all waiting for this month's devlog post. I've unfortunately been sick, so this kind of slipped my mind until now.
I'm sure you're not here to listen to my whining about how much it sucks to be sick though, so let's get to the interesting announcements!
Kierdan's Route Released for Beta

The main highlight of the past month is that Kierdan's route has been finalized and released for beta! For any Patrons of $15 tier or above, you should be able to access Kierdan's route in the newest beta build update, linked in the last Patreon reward post.
With this update, the original 3 routes for Reanimation Scheme have been completed! All that's left for those routes is a couple of item art pieces and the partial voice acting lines, which are currently in progress. The current word count total for the game is 430k+ words, and I expect the game would probably end up around 670k words by the time the last two stretch goal routes are finalized.
My next focus will be on finishing the remaining two routes. As with before, I'll be updating the Patreon beta build with chapters of their routes as they are finalized on a monthly basis.
November is the last month that Kierdan's and Lyrissa's routes will be available in the Patreon beta build, so be sure to pledge before the end of the month if you want to play their routes early and not wait for the full release!
Internal Beta Testing
Speaking of beta, you may have also seen my post on social media a couple of weeks ago recruiting some internal beta testers for more dedicated bugcatching and feedback.
Currently, I have a small team of testers working on Aldrias', Kierdan's and Lyrissa's routes. The amount of typos that has been caught by the testers and somehow slipped through the tracks all this time is honestly embarrassing. πDue to the length of the game, it'll probably take more time before the tester team wraps up this internal beta phase, but for now, feedback has been positive so far! Gotta admit, I'm relieved about it as I've been really anxious about how the game would be received.
That's all I have to say this month. Thank you for reading the post, and I'll see you all next month!
