2022-07-14 19:47:44 +0000 UTCI absolutely loved last episode and this episode because those are my favourites of season 6 but this episode especially because it's directed by Bob Morley, Bellamy blake himself and he did such a phenomenal job of it. the scene between Clarke and Bellamy was so soft in the beginning with her waking up, Bellamy rushing to her side whilst placing a soft hand on her knee and then Bellamy's guilt about not being there to protect her but Clarke comforting him saying that he still did because he literally brought her back to life with his bare hands so he did indeed save her. The scene between the Blakes was monumental because it saw the Blakes relationship repairing even in the slightest way but the more monumental moment and biggest growth was Bellamy himself realizing that Octavia is indeed his sister but she is not his responsibility anymore as he can still love and care for her but he can finally step back and letting her be as he's spent all of this show being Octavia's protector and guardian because that was put onto him as a kid by his mother with "my sister, my responsibility." and that was ingrained into his very being so it is a monumental growth for him and his character and i am so proud of him for that. Bellamy being so worried about Clarke putting herself in danger again even though he's just got her back by pretending to be Josephine, he doesn't want it to happen but does because he trusts her for her to do it and then Murphy comes in, talking about Echo being in trouble and Bellamy does not look worried or concerned about it at all. the backstory with Echo telling Ryker about the fact that her name was Ash, she had to kill her best friend and then take on her name going forward is also something that bothers me because Bellamy should know this about her because her name is actually Ash and she hasn't told him that which is something you would tell the person you supposedly love.
