Script Snippet: [Reanimation Scheme - Lyrissa] Banter

Hey everyone! 

I'm an idiot who forgot there's only 28 days in February, so now I'm rushing to get all the remaining rewards for this month posted in time. LOL We're starting with a short script snippet preview of Lyrissa's route in Reanimation Scheme! Have some good old playful banter between the two~

Despite the early hour, the halls of the headquarters are already crowded with mages bustling about, though I don't spot anyone familiar among them. The air is thrumming with conversation, but none of it grabs my attention, and I make my way through the winding corridors without incident.

Soon, I find myself standing before the door to Lyrissa's room. I knock smartly, stifling a yawn with my free hand.

A moment later, the door opens to reveal Lyrissa, who looks far too alert and energetic for this time of the day, her mouth parting slightly in surprise upon seeing me.

Lyrissa: Rae! Good morning! I sure didn’t expect to see you up and about so early. What are you doing here?

I give a dramatic sigh, clasping my hand over my heart and pretending to be offended.

Raenelle: Why does everyone act as though Zianna has started walking among mortals just because I’m up a little earlier than usual?

Lyrissa giggles, one hand fluttering to cover her mouth.

Lyrissa: Oh, trust me, I'd be less surprised if that were to happen. I have not forgotten the horrors of trying to wake you up for early morning classes back then in the Academy.

I let out another gasp of mock outrage, arching an eyebrow at her playfully.

Raenelle: Ah ha, so you're the one who has been going around ruining my reputation. I'm going to need at least a few thousand gold as compensation for what you've done.

Lyrissa: Dear Ellanari, so this was all a trap! I should've known — is it too late for me to close the door in your face now?

Raenelle: You wouldn't dare!

We stare each other down for a beat before we both break our charades, collapsing into a peal of laughter.
