i know some people give shit to scott bc he doesn't want to kill anybody and doesn't want to go full alpha on everyone but, i love that he's staying true to his character! of course now he has more strength, more leadership qualities and more confidence, but it's still the same scott that was in s1! also, he's a true alpha yes, but a new one! he also didn't kill any alpha to get his power so he can't rely on anyone's previous powers! that's why he can seem "weaker" than other alphas we saw, but i love how his heart is always the thing guiding him

2022-01-28 00:08:23 +0000 UTCScott's whole thing is that he spends most of his time nullifying his abilities as he said in season 3 in the episode Fireflies. Scott is basically trying to stay human by not focusing on what he can truly do which likely makes Scott weaker. Think about it, during Scott’s mental crisis in season 3 his shadow was depicted as a monstrous wolf much like Peter and I think that still worries Scott. In season 3 when Scott was being taught to roar by the twins they stated that to do this he’d have to give in to it full throttle and Scott’s concern was what if he couldn't control it and they replied with “you become like Peter”. Yes, it was a plot point for that time but it makes sense if Scott doesn’t want to do it a lot because it could still be a worry of his because what happens when the boy who spends most of his time trying to save everyone and is essentially the hero of the story gives in and becomes the monster? So I believe every time Scott runs, roars, gets angry, or even glows his eyes he’s afraid that he’s becoming more and more like Peter. We all have our demons to fight and our burdens to bear and this is Scotts.

We have to remember that Scott is new to all of this too and still does not really know what to do in every situation. He has his moments were he his really smart but he is still a teenager too. Scott is not gonna roar in every single situation 😅Then i think people would be annoyed by that. Scott being a true alpha won't be the same as a "normal" alpha. He won't be like Derek, the alpha pack or Peter(Thank god), at least for now. I also love Stiles and Malia's moment!

But like you said, if anytime Scott was in trouble and he used his full alpha potential it would probably get boring fast

2022-01-27 22:58:09 +0000 UTCIm pretty sure the roar is just to cause a werewolf to shift and it wouldn't work on someone who is not in his pack because hes not everyones alpha so that doesnt really make sense that he can just roar at everyone and especially I dont think it makes sense for it to work on creatures that are extremely different than what he is
