2021-05-02 06:25:17 +0000 UTCi feel like how bonnie is portrayed is a little disappointing in that i was excited to see a strong poc main character. she’s definitely strong and i love her, but i hate that her storylines are all people close to her dying or helping the main characters, and that’s only when she’s not gone for a good chunk of the season. i get that as a witch, and being their close friend, she helps with things a lot of the time bc she wants to, but i had hoped for a bonnie-centered storyline that doesn’t end in her leaving. i guess i wish we just got to see more of her :(

When Elena comes with those feathers it always gets me so emotional I remember season 1 whr Bonnie tells Elena she’s a witch by making these feathers fly in her room it just hits me so bad :(( Bonnie doesn’t deserve this one bit I freaking hate it. We say Caroline gets hurt a lot and gets kidnapped and stuff but the pain and suffering Bonnie goes through No1 goes through it’s just terrible.

Especially Elena, loosing all the people that she does, but Bonnie's just seems a little shitter than everyone else, in my opinion. I think it's the always being used thing that plays so heavily into that. And the fact that shes constantly dying to save her friends, and it seems like her friends only ask about her when they're in trouble. But yet she's always collateral damage. And yeah, she loves them and so she wants to help, but it would just be great if that was reciprocated for her. Like someone put their neck on the line for Bonnie for once lol. Sorry, little rant there😂 everyone deserves better, but Bonnie REALLY deserves better. 🤷🏾♀️
