Ofcourse he doesn’t hate his brother that’s BS he’s just upset and hurt. Feel bad for him but it is what it is. When Elena tells Damon she loves him and he looks up in the sky it’s like Damon is telling his buddy Ric I got the girl 😻🥺 I also like how Damon shoots Klaus for Carol he really respected her and liked her and that’s sweet.

I think of the grieving process like this “as time goes on your day to day gets easier and easier but sometimes you gotta have your quarterly grief day”
