I love Rebekah so much it broke my heart to see her being getting treated like this here. I also get klaus being upset cause they would have all been dead if he didn’t heal cz the dagger didn’t affect him so yeah they all died cz of her she should have been careful but that doesn’t mean she should be treated like shit and in this episode oh mahn it just hurts to see her being used 😓

That Delena dance scene is hot AF 🥵 and Damon dancing is definitely the best thing for me alwaysss. I just love watching Damon with Bonnie when they enter the party and Damon says I’m jack the ripper and these are the 2 lovely ladies I just rippered the look he gives Bonnie is so dam funny always makes me smile. I understand why Bonnie reacted the way she did she’s seeing Elena as a different person now and as Damon said she is she is a vampire now and yes she was having fun and I totally agree with what Damon said he enjoys it and he revels in it which is why he can control it most of the time and not kill someone instantly which Stefan just Cannot do. Elena did pretty well here and being a new vampire seriously not bad at all.

There's a lot to say about this ep- First off it set's up our intrigue for the season, and such a cool quest I love it, in my opinion the last great Act from the TVD Golden Age, I respect Stefan's motivation and I love him as a character but I do get aggravated when people hold him on a pedestal as a model of virtue when in the end he's very much willing to do what he needs to get what he wants, Rebekah being on the other end of that....Even if the dinner scene with him being caught in the middle of the two siblings with his wooden humor is so god damn entertaining lol....Seriously btw when would Rebkah have to call dibbs, guys would be LINING UP! lmao Klaus snatching the drawing like that from Jeremy and calling him an 'Impetuous Punk' I freaking die for that...And the Damon stuff there's really 2 schools of thoughts on that, but i agree with him all the way and he told them off well, if there's no pain and you know how to do it and it means you don't rip people's heads off, do what you have to do, BTW Jer your answer is yes, humanity does turn on off in an instant if you want it to, but once you're there the trap is you don't want to get back and the more people you hurt the worst it get's because it's a continuous cycle of guilt, so you don't turn back on just like that, it takes serious effort to get you out of the gutter and back on track, Stefan said it took him decades the few times it happened to him

Today in how did I not see this before: Rebecca says Klaus left Finn daggered after this incident with the hunters. I like the small questions the show answers in such an organic way. Stefan and Klaus's 'good cop bad cop' routine here is painful to watch as they play Rebecca. When I first watched I really had no appreciation for Rebecca but after watching reactors and reading comments my entire perception of her has been altered and in a favorable way.

The cure plot line is legit the best plot from the show, the hunters of the five, the council fire, and the cure, are perfectly linked..and everything builds up to a perfect big bad for the season.
