Also, Damon killing Ric is terrible and all, but the whole vervain in the water supply conversation bugs me so much that the final moment just makes me giggle.

2021-03-09 17:23:52 +0000 UTCI love this episode. The conflict on the Mystic Falls side is a little contrived, but the end result works and it's fun overall. The Stefan/Katherine scenes are especially a highlight. Oh, and points to Caroline. There are times when the writing really works against her in order to prop up the love triangle, but this isn't one of them. She genuinely comes across as a good friend to Elena.

I love how straightforward Caroline is and makes Elena admit what she feels - Somewhat lol. Caroline -Damon fight is badass and funny too π€£ - Damon saying Bummer- love a good girl fight is so dam funny. Also can we get subtitles back on? If ok with you. I just love Stefan Klaus and Rebekah in any scene together itβs so much fun watching them their hilarious.

2021-03-02 23:02:39 +0000 UTCThere are a few cute moments in this but really I am mostly just excited for the next episode which is one of my favorite of the entire series. @JerBear I think you misspoke but correct me if I am wrong when you said "Klaus is going to figure out Damon is up to something which he should have probably figured out by now". I believe you meant STEFAN so I am going to comment as though you did. Klaus absolutely should have figured it out already but I think there is a very good reason he hasn't and it's important to understand for the plot moving forward and the choices Klaus makes in his interactions. I have seen a couple reactors kinda 'miss' this and then think some things Klaus does/doesn't do are dumb or contrived. So if you haven't picked up on it yet. Klaus WANTS to believe/trust him. Klaus is lonely. Stefan was one of his very few genuine friends. Like Klaus said before he compelled Stefan to forget they knew each other "I'd forgotten what it was like to have a brother". Klaus and Elijah (and his other brothers) had grown estranged for who knows how many years. Klaus genuinely cares for Stefan and seems to really want that friendship back. Since he is Klaus, he definitely does not understand real friendship or brotherhood, but he still seems to yearn for it. I love that Katherine was right when she told Stefan what he SHOULD do to get information out of Rebecca. He ignored her advice and well... look where that got him. The little things in this show make me happy like Stefan telling Katherine if she wanted a partner in crime, she should look elsewhere. So she does. Damon realizing it's Katherine on the porch and then hitting his head on the door was so funny. Moving the plot forward moments of note: Alaric being pissed at Damon and taking a place on the council. Klaus, Rebecca, Stefan and Klaus's traveling coffins are in Mystic Falls.
