OK I DO NOT like Isobel! It's been said. OMG that conversation in the parking lot had me in tears from laughter! Jeezus Christ! Chills! That scene with Damon and Isobel. I got chills! I won't be mad if John dies. Damon's little swallow after Isobel said,"Cuz he's in love with you." LIFE! Poor Ric! Woow! I take my statement back. I will now care if John dies. Maybe not, I don't know, I'm conflicted.

2021-01-30 23:19:18 +0000 UTCI like the arrival of Isobel, its giving more backstory and depth to certain characters. So we learn that vampires have the ability to suppress their feelings like a switch, it's the nature of a vampire not to feel, so we understand that Stefan is really one of the few the exceptions that let his complete humanity drive him, why is he this way? We'll see. Then Isobel, basically even if she doesn't care about anyone, she at least feels regret, regret with Elena and Alaric. Her arrival cleared up the future of Alaric who remained in the past mystery of his wife's disappearance, he is now free to love whomever he wishes specifically Jenna, the same for Elena who wanted to know her mother and realizes that Isobel will not be that to her. I also like that we see a different side of John, I mean he's an asshole without a doubt but an asshole who thinks he's acting for good reasons, for his daughter. Then it remains to be seen why Katherine wants all the vampires dead and why she sends others to do the job for her. Damon who is the only one, still, to understand what he has in front of him. I do not like this rivalry between the two brothers for another woman, again, but I understand that at this stage after more than a half century of shared hatred, it is not overnight that they will rebuild their relationship, already for the moment they trust each other more than at the beginning of the season, baby steps. As for Bonnie, I understand her reasons even though her actions will surely have bad repercussions. One episode and here you are in season 2. I really can't wait. 😁👀
