Long time no see! I didn't stop working during these weeks, I just... well, I like to be honest with everyone who supports me, so I will share my thoughts here.
I'm unsure about the future of the LiS project, due to technical and non-technical issues.
I've been trying work on hot(er) scenes these last weeks and I'm not satisfied with the results. The "anatomy" for real-time rendering requires remodeling a lot of stuff from scratch and gives me irregular results for the several different models. I could go for "less detailed" scenes but this only makes me aware of how much I freedom I had in the animation style used in GRH. As someone with an paranoid level of attention to detail, this is being very hard to deal with.
But the most import... a critical non-technical issue is worrying me a lot, as I learned the real-time rendering nature of this project leaves it open to some nasty claims by the parody's IP owner. I was kinda aware of the risk when I started the project, but I got word the IP owner (known to go out of his way to 'discourage' such endeavors) is even more active now that the release of a certain 'remaster' is nigh.
I'll take this week to make my mind about what I'm going to do next. But 2021 is definitely the top year of screw ups...

Really hope you can continue with this game, as it looks to be my most favourite one of your games so far, but as others said you need to decide whats best for you and the future!

I think I speak for many of your Patrons to say that we would follow you to your other platforms. Perhaps check SubscribeStar, or other kind of competitor? If not, I believe you can always use other payment systems. This game, and your talent, is extremely worth it for me to jump to use a new platform. This kind of "move" is not new, and many creators I have followed already done so. In regards to your technical problem, I would say I love your game for your immersion, writing, humor, and and of course rough sex scenes. More of the similar kind of animations you've done in the past will suffice, you don't need to aim for perfection.

2021-10-17 00:22:22 +0000 UTCi love parodies man, i really do and you not continuing your work is a shame, but do not take risk mate, you really can get in trouble (a parody is a parody but hey they can claim it) for something that is not worth it. Just continue doing your thing with something else, when you feel that you have the time and the willing of course, phisical and mental health first mate .

Don't worry too much, you'll find something else if need be :) Of course, if there's a way to keep LiS going, so much the better :)
