The cheat console !

Hi folks! Some people like only to explore game content not caring much about gameplay and story spoilers. In short: playing with cheats. I've seen some people even using mods to enable cheats.

Well... This might break a lot of the fun, but you actually don't need mods for that! Since v0.3 there's a hidden cheat console that can be used to mess with game variables, enabling a lot of cheating opportunities. If you want to put your real life hacking abilities to test, here's how to do it:

Press ESC to enter the pause menu, then enter the Konami code using the keyboard arrows and letters. If you don't know what the Konami code is, use this opportunity to learn a important chapter in human history.

If the sequence is typed correctly, you'll notice that a white text input box appears in the bottom of the screen. Click there and will be able to type commands and cheat your way into the game data (remember to press ENTER to apply the command).

Some command examples (text upcase/lowercase matters):

item.DRONE_CLAW=1 Adds the drone claw to your inventory
item.BEER=-1 Removes a beer from your inventory
player.DICK_KARMA=70 Sets the player Karma stat value
player.samantha-tennis-chocolate=true Adds a picture to the gallery

BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU PLAY WITH THIS CONSOLE! You can easily break your save by typing the wrong lines! Also, notice the game will not be ready for values changed by the console but impossible to reach via normal gameplay. And the bugs might chase your for using it!

Finally, but less important: be aware that if you use the console to cheat, the game will know and will never forget! (mwahahaha)
