She and her sister were on the show (She was 13 at the time) and as a result received training directly from JYP who selected to be their mentor. He then signed the 2 sisters to his agency to train and develop them into idols. Sixteen was her 2nd Survival Show she was on, she then was on the Stray Kidz survival show with Yeji Ryujin and Yuna as Girl team 2. The boy team was selected and they became Stray Kidz. Of course Yeji Ryujin Chaeryeong Lia and Yuna became ITZY about a year and a half after SKZ debuted.
