RPGs or Wargames? You decide!

Hey there, folks!

Hope you're all well, and have been enjoying being a Patron of my miniatures. I have a quick question for you, and one that will influence my plans for the next few months of the Patreon...

If you had to choose one, would you say you were more a player/fan of wargames (like Warhammer) or RPGs (like DnD)? I know there are loads of crossover, but if you had to choose ONE, which would you pick?

With the Digital Workshop range, I always try to make my sculpts appeal to both styles of table top game. Some releases will lean more to one side than the other, and It's always great to hear from the community about which content they would love to see more of in the future.

Many thanks, and happy printing!

Cheers,

- Alex

I do enjoy a tactical rpg encounter, but don't need it all the time. Whereas thanks to a steadily growing selection of minis agnostic games there is always gonna be some excuse/need for a new mini or three to feed the habit.

I recently tried warhammer and had to change my vote to wargaming. I need some good gloomspite gitz style things for a diorama.

I have always been a RPG fan. While I can understand the competitiveness of wargaming, I prefer the cooperation, teamwork, and adventure of RPG's. Also, batch-painting personally takes away the joy of the hobby.

I am definitely more of a wargamer playing smaller skirmish games (5 to 10+ models) and common army sized game systems with 30-50+ models. RPG games incl. models aren't my jam at all. :)

Hard to answer a binary choice because that’s not really why I support you. You make cool, unique and animated individual sculpts and some versatile multipart kits. If I was forced to pick, I would say d&d just to get more interesting designs for classic monsters available.

I love wargaming and it's my go to hobby. But for 3D prints I much prefer small projects like a giant or some snakes etc something I can enjoy the process and painting of and have as a fun encounter
