EDIT: I made a scheduling mistake which means this post is wayyy too late... My bad! - Greg

Hey patrons,

Welcome to this weeks edition of our newsletter! Previously, we announced that the latest GTG Commons Mod update had been released on the BeamNG repository, which included new customizable wheels. We also shared that we had already begun working on the next update for the Commons Mod, planning to add more wheel options, including hubcaps and lug nuts, and to make the vanilla aluminum wheels customizable. Looking further ahead, we explained that after a couple more wheel-focused updates for the Commons Mod, we would then turn our attention to the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack to fix issues and port vanilla T-series parts, with that update also incorporating all the customizable wheels from the Commons Mod.

This week though, we'll be talking about one of the new sets of wheels that we'll be adding with the new update, and when we plan to release the update.

GTG Commons Mod - Public 1.3.8x

We're glad to share that we've finished development of the update and have entered the testing phase. With the included picture you might be able to spot one of the new wheel designs that have been implemented, the Everroll Thermidor. It is our first attempt to make a wheel from scratch, and we're very pleased with the result.

The new Everroll Thermidor is a 7 slot wheel. We saw similar wheels on the internet, so we wanted to give it a shot ourselves. This being a new design made from scratch meant we had to take what we had learned from mere simple edits and put that knowledge into something brand-new. It took some figuring out, but we got there. And soon, you'll be able to enjoy it too.

But when do we plan to release it? Next week that is! You as a patron will get access to it on Friday, May 30th, and we'll release it on our website and BeamNG repository on June 2nd or 3rd.

Closing thoughts

We hope you enjoyed this edition of the weekly post! But before we go, we want to ask you what you would like to see in our weekly posts. We want to diversify our newsletter and as such we need your input! Just let us know down in the comments and we'll do our best to see what we can do.

Stay awesome, and see you next week! ❤️
