In this week's edition, we're going to talk about the latest update that BeamNG released for BeamNG.drive and its effect on the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, as well design mention for the Legacy Sleeper Add-On update. Let's dive right into it, shall we? π
BeamNG.drive v0.32.x
This week is update week for BeamNG and their latest update brings with it a handful of part variants as well as a few brand new parts. The newly added parts seem really cool, and we'll port them over for the next minor update for the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack.
π Speaking of which, it seems we left in a production error which broke some textures when the game updated... Oops! No worries, we've fixed them and the patch is already uploaded to the BeamNG repository, so it should come out in about 14 to 16 hours on the BeamNG repository. Our website should already have the patch online.
The upcoming patch does not fix all production errors we've made, resulting in the mod using textures from both its own files and those of the base game T-Series, but we'll fix that for the upcoming minor update which also double acts as a compatibility patch for the upcoming Patreon-exclusive Legacy Sleeper Add-On.
Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Legacy Sleeper Add-On
We've settled on a design height for the sleepers! After taking reference from online imagery, we've settled on making the roof height sit between the AeroCab's roof and that of the flattop, creating a nice "middle-ground" option. This should be plenty big for a trucker to stand up in and stretch his or her legs. π
