In this week's edition of the weekly post, we'll finally show you the first images we have of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Racing Add-On!

Let's dive right into it, shall we?

Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Racing Add-On Progress

So, in the past week we've started work on the Racing Add-On for the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, and we have to say that even though the parts that's in-game are nothing but mesh slaps right now, it does look good.

Today we wrapped up modeling the wing and we're ready to show you how a T-Series with racing parts looks like right now! We'll let them speak for themselves.

So far, what is implemented and finished are the following parts:

V1500 Racing Turbochargers
Stage 4 Racing Internals
AGS Type-6DSOD/DD Adjustable Dual-Clutch Transmission
Adjustable Final-Drive
Racing Engine Control Module (Adjustable rev limiter, etc)

As a result of the engine tuning parts, the VRX18, when rev limiting at 2750 RPM, sounds amazing in our opinion! We've also been able to push the vehicle to speeds higher than 200mph... fun!

All in all, we are right on schedule for an August 28 release on the GMTI-Store!

*Note that the parts aren't textured just yet and are subject to a proper texturing process.

GTG Commons Mod

In anticipation of the Racing Add-On, we've uploaded a compatibility patch for the GTG Commons Mod to the BeamNG Repo. This patch enables the brake glow effects that were added in the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack earlier this year. Expect multiple patches of the GTG Commons Mod to come out over the next month or so as we tweak the racing tires for enhanced handling with the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Racing Add-On.

We are going to release a compatibility patch of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack sometime next week to ensure the new add-on works properly. This patch will also fix some issues regarding exhaust smoke for which we found the fix during the development of the Racing Add-On.
