Weekly Post | Chipping Away

Hey there dear patrons,

In this week's edition of our weekly post, we'll talk about the last bits and pieces of the GTMI-X Store and some more progress we have made on the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, however small that may be at the moment.

Let's dive right into it!

What will the GMTI-X Store feature at launch?

Great question! At first, the GMTI-X Store will launch with 2 products in its line-up. At first, you are able to buy a mug and/or stickers. The retail price of the mug and the stickers will be €24,95 and €2,95 respectively. We hope to eventually release more merchandise like clothing among things and more styles, but only if the merch sells well! Yes, we know it sounds like boring business stuff, but we gotta keep you, our dearest fan, up-to-date on the happenings with GMT! 

So with that out of the way, let's talk about the one major problem first; stock and shipping. At launch, because we do not want bankrupt ourselves by buying a lot of products with the risk of them not selling, we order the lowest amount of products possible from the supplier. This is called a minimum order quantity. The more the products sell, the larger our orders from the suppliers will be. Larger orders from the supplier come with a benefit; potentially lower unit prices! Bestsellers, therefore, could receive lower pricing later down the road. At first, however, prices will be what we mentioned and we can only ship within the European Union and the United Kingdom. Other nations will eventually be added later down the road.

Let's get back to a more exciting topic though!

Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack Progress

While we've had a bit of a tricky week, we did manage to do at least something for the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack. We are almost finished with the air cleaner enhancements and it's looking really well so far. There are still some things that need to be done to get the shade of chrome just right as well as drawing in some extra details, but when that's done, we can safely check those off the checklist! Have a look for yourself at how they currently look like:

Enhanced air cleaners are obviously not the only thing coming with the next update, but, it's all we managed to do this week so it's all we can show you at the moment. Changes with the upcoming update will include major things like a built-in safe mode, should the mod break with a game update, as well as a variety of new parts, bug fixes, and other enhancements.

Final Note

While we were unable to meet our goals for this week, we did manage to do something. We are nowhere near the finish line, but it's edging closer ever so slightly every day.
