Hey there dear patrons,

In today's (not so) weekly post, we're going to talk about the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack and how we're going to tackle finishing up the 180" & 110" Sleeper Pack, and the Gavril T-Series Recreational Vehicle Upfit.

Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack

We have been working on the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack these past few weeks with progress being relatively slow. Our developers are not very active at the moment for multiple, personal reasons, however, we are still working on things. Just not as fast as we would like sometimes. That said, let's head on to why this post is called "Features Galore".

You may or may not be aware that some of the newer vehicles in BeamNG.drive have a new feature; openable doors. We are on the way to adding this very feature to the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack as well. It does not stop there, as we are slowly working our way to wrap up 37 total items on the checklist for Public 2.1.4x

The update will also rename the transmission manufacturer ALT to AGS. AGS is short for Advanced Gearbox Solutions. The current ALT 14-speed DCT will be accompanied by 6-, 8-, 12-, and 16-speed variants with and without overdrive options. That means a total of 7 brand-spanking new transmissions, all of which are Dual-Clutch transmissions.

We will also add the option to use the vanilla sleeper and sleeper door. By default, they are commented out. But, should you wish to use them, you can re-enable them in the project's code. A guide on how to do this will be added in the FAQ and in the file where the sleeper sits.

Plans for PEWs

We are not going to lie, we will not be able to finish and release the 10-Patron and 50-Patron specials this year. We will, however, start working on those as soon as the update of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack drops before Christmas. Therefore, we expect both PEWs to be finished and released sometime in the first quarter of 2023.
