Weekly Post | I'm feeling heavy

Hey there dear patrons,

Today we have a new weekly post that's all about the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack and the Heavy-Haul Trailer Pack. We also have a special message to all of the new patrons who came in last week following the release of the 180" Sleeper. Let's get to it, shall we?

Special Message

To all the new patrons who came in last week, and all of our older patrons, thank you! We're especially glad that until the time of writing this, we've only heard great things about the sleeper. We can't wait until we have enough time available to push out the 110" Sleeper as well in addition to the sleeper we already have.

Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack Public 2.1.3x

We're glad to announce that version Public 2.1.3x is now in the works and scheduled for release on July 4th, 2022, @ 04:00 PM UTC*. 

This update rebalances the sounds as that was deemed necessary following BeamNG.drive version 0.25, fixes the broken 13, 16, and 18-Speed transmissions as BeamNG.drive version 0.25 broke the code, and fixes some minor issues. 

The update also implements a handful of new components that are mostly heavy-haulage related. It will also implement a brand new feature; openable doors and cabinet doors**.

Heavy-Haul Trailer Pack

Some already know this, but we're now officially announcing the initial release version of the Heavy-Haul Trailer Pack. This will be released exactly one week after the update of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, which is July 11th, 2022, @ 04:00 PM UTC*.

The initial version will feature just the 2+2+2 configuration (six-axles total) with 3 cargoes to haul varying in weight and size. The trailer will be red in color, while we research how to make it colorable. There will be no skin support on the trailer. After all, there's no real use for it to be skinnable. We may come back to that at a later date though, for now, it's just too much work to squeeze in until release.
