Hey there dear patrons,
In today's weekly post, we'll cover the 180" sleeper and what's following up on the release of that. We'll also let you in on how we're going to tackle BeamNG.drive v.0.25.
The sleeper
The sleeper's in testing now! We're testing the sleeper in-house to find and fix major issues before the release on the 10th of June at 04:00 PM UTC. As promised, this little pack will include the 180" Sleeper, 3 configurations, and 3 exclusive liveries. The liveries have pretty dull names though, but we have a reason for this. We'd like YOU to suggest names for these liveries!
In the attached image you can see one of the three liveries. Is now a good time to note that ALL the liveries are colorable?
We'll provide a screenshot of the interior later by updating this post. You'll be notified!
What's next?
We'll continue working on the Gavril T-Series after the release of the 180" sleeper. The plan is to retire the equipment rack and replace it with an upfit designed for heavy haulage. What design we're going with is tricky to tell now, because development hasn't started yet. Besides new content, we'll also fix some minor issues that we've noticed recently. We doubt that you might notice them, but they're there if you know where to look.
After the release of the Gavril T-Series Expansion version Public 2.1.3x, we'll go all-in on the Heavy-Haulage Trailer Pack. What's a heavy-haulage truck without a proper trailer to accompany it? The initial release version of the Heavy-Haulage Trailer Pack will feature 3 lowboys, 2 jeeps, 2 spreaders, 2 gooseneck modules, and 3 loads. If we manage to get it working, also dynamically deforming power and airlines will be added.
BeamNG.drive v.0.25
If this update happens to break things, we'll focus our resources on updating our content to make them work again. If everything works fine, hooray!
That's it for this week. Stay tuned for Friday, June 10th so you can (finally) see and, more importantly, enjoy the 180" sleeper for yourself!
Yours sincerely,
- the GTG Mods Team
