Weekly Post | New Mod Announcements

Hey there dear Patrons,

In this week's post, we'll talk about a couple of things. Most notably the announcement of not one, but two new mods that'll come out in the not too distant future. First on that list is of course the Heavy-Haul Trailer Pack that'll release on May 8th.

The Heavy-Haul Trailer Pack will come in a variety of configurations, and on initial release will feature 3 loads to suit heavy-haulage needs. The next version of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack will tie in nicely with the release of this mod, as that version will give the T85 Heavy-Hauler config a slight overhaul. The old utility frame will be made obsolete, and a new upfit will be made to make the T85 Heavy-Haul a true piece of heavy-haulage monstrosity. The Heavy-Haul Trailer Pack will be available with 2 Jeep units, 2 Goosenecks, 3 Low-Boys, and 2 Spreaders. The combo of these in the largest config will give you a 3+4+3 config, perfect for heavy hauling. Do note that your framerate will take a hit though, these things will not be the cheapest on processing power.

The second announcement is the long-rumored General Purpose Trailer Pack. The General Purpose Trailer Pack will add and expand on the availability of semi-trailers in BeamNG like no other mod has done ever before. Upon initial release, the mod will feature 53' and 48' trailers, single axle and triple axle bogies, and a variety of new loads for both the dry van and flatbed trailers.

We've also done some work on the 110" & 180" Sleeper pack this week. We've finished up the final design on the exterior of the 180" sleeper and will move into interior design in the upcoming week. Making an interior as large as this one will take a bit, and in combination with the other projects, we cannot yet guarantee if the 110" sleeper will also be available this month. If not, then it will become available not too long after.

We've also done a thing that might reconsider our plans for the development of the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack. Namely the following:

If you look closely, you'll notice that the tires are different. While this was a quick, 15-minute edit to see how they'd look like on the Gavril T-Series, it does make us question if we should switch around Phase-II and Phase-III on the development plans. Currently, we're at Phase-IV. In a few months from now, we originally wanted to start on Phase-III. The photo shows what a Phase-II truck would look like though, and the quick 15-minute edit may encourage us to develop Phase-II before Phase-III. What do you think? Let us know in the comments! Anyway, that's it for this week folks. We're hoping to have the sleeper pack available around the 26th of March, though we can't say for sure yet.
