Weekly Post | Team Expansion And Hotfix
Added 2022-02-20 12:01:01 +0000 UTCHey there dear Patrons,
In this today's weekly post we'll talk about two things: Our newest team addition and the Hotfix of the Gavril Barstow F2.
We're glad to finally have a skinner on the team... A modder who specializes in making liveries for our projects will help get us back on track in that department. The new 60" sleepers in the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack have always been skin-ready, though we just didn't have the time to make liveries. Liveries can consume quite some time to make if you want them to look nice. Complicated ones require multiple concepts before the designer is finally ready with how it looks like. Trial and error is part of the modding life.
Our newest member should be known in the BeamNG skin-modder scene as Top Tier Studios. His work has impressed us and as a result, we approached him with the question of whether he was willing to join. Glad that he did. You might see his efforts in upcoming versions of both the Gavril Barstow F2 and the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, and possibly also on the 180" and 110" sleeper pack. Speaking of which, we're so close to reaching that goal! 8 - 10. Chances are the goal is completed before we even have the pack ready...

We're also pleased to let you know that we've got the first hotfix for Public 1.1.4 ready for the Gavril Barstow F2. Public 1.1.4a had some slight issues we didn't see during development and an asset that wasn't ready yet for release but is now. The all-new 5.3 Gal (20L) Fuel-Cell will give you another part to play with.
We do not have any further development on the 180" & 110" Sleeper Pack just yet. But we will work on it next week, so with the next weekly post, you'll see new images of that.
We'll also go hard at work on the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack. We are very far behind schedule on the upcoming update. We hope the upcoming week will be enough to rectify that. Did you know that modeling a single interior piece of the sleepers takes up to a week? Largely dependent on the size of course!
Anyway, that's it for this week! Stay tuned for next week!
Yours sincerely,
- the GTG Mods Team
