[SPOILERS] Progress Update: 4/21/23

The past week I myself haven't been able to accomplish much for the new video due to a road trip I took with Brian of Regular Car Reviews to help him film a couple of episodes, as well as desperately catching up on sundry things that have fallen by the wayside due to things that had to be completed before the trip, such as taxes.

However, this hasn't slowed down the release of the video at all, as Arcaxon, my graphic designer, needed a bit of time anyways to catch up. His work for this video is quite intricate, but he's doing a phenomenal job. One of the things I'd like to share with you all this week is some of the fake corporation logos that he's made which will act as stand-ins to describe the general movements and patterns of old corporations. Much of the information about these early days is lost to time, and so using example corporations helps to prevent from implying improper information. In some instances, such as fleet compositions for these nearly 20 year old battles with no footage, we've had to make assumptions that may not be precisely correct, but here, we can avoid such issues. Arc did a fantastic job of emulating the art style of the old logos:

Another major milestone is that all of the mixing and mastering for the music has been completed, and the final versions of the tracks have been delivered. Ryan Probert has outdone himself this time, and when the video releases and the tracks are made public, it will absolutely be worth listening to all six hours on their own. It also includes a song for the credits, as has become tradition.

Right now, I'm hoping to get the video done by the end of next month, but it'll be done when it's done. I'll keep you all apprised, and next week I should have some timeline screenshots to show all of you.

See you next week,

-Fredrik

Can’t wait to see it mate. You keep up the good work

It absolutely is something I've considered and am considering. Once this video is completed, I plan on doing a bit more research into it and making an evaluation.

Quick question, you've mentioned concerns about needing to edit some parts of the video specifically to cater to YouTube's standards so that the video will remain monetized, have you considered releasing this (or future projects) on Nebula? I know you probably don't want to produce the entire video twice for a censored and uncensored version, I'm more curious if releasing on Nebula has ever come under consideration?
