SFI-140B Wespe

Introducing the SFI-140B Wespe.

And, a quick peek at the finished Zbrush model.

The Wespe (German for wasp, in keeping with the naming conventions for the design lineage) is a completely new fighter that's part of the the SF-123 B Möwe and the SF-135 Drachen design lineage. Unlike many of the recent updates of pre-existing fighter designs (which I have always tried to make more visually interesting evolutions of the original designs) this is an entirely new design and will be getting the full box art release treatment (assuming it prints with no issue). A fairly compact fighter, the Wespe is designated SFI indicating: Space Fighter Interceptor. Due to it's more compact airframe, I kinda see it as The Three Nine Line's YF-23-ish A-wing type interceptor. I quite like where the design went so this brings me to the next point of note:

Print testing, likely tomorrow, and STL pre-release drop to immediately follow, along with some pending mini STLs as well. I look forward to seeing how this prints (painting one as well) and we'll go from there.
