The weather has finally... finally has begun to warm up and somewhat resemble spring here in Michigan-land, so I've finally run a test print for the new TE-72 Lancea fighter. Here be a couple 'o' photo-grapha-magigs. I plan to print several of these, so more to follow (painted examples for sure).
This winter was particularly stupid cold and brutal so far as heating costs are concerned (something I expect we've all been feeing pretty hard), and it really wasn't great for printing. It also meant I had to lean on freelance work outside of the Patreon work to continue to keep the lights on, resulting in being terribly busy with all of the other work. Having that said, it does appear to finally be, grudgingly, moving into spring weather, so I plan to be back to printing a go-go to make up for the slim printing during winter; minis, new fighters, stuff!
The first test print did result in a successful print, as seen in the photos, but I plan to run another today with some adjustments to mitigate what looks like mild layer shifts in some areas of the model. Beyond that, the print looks fantastic, with the details rendering nicely. While, again a late release, the STLs will drop first, before the month's end, with the art bundle to follow.
I plan to get the releases more toward the middle, to beginning of the following months, as they were before, along with additional content ramping back up. The last several months couldn't be helped, especially with the added inflation nonsense kicking the crap outta the wallet. Here's to spring bringing renewed momentum. Either way, ups and downs, I have no plans to stop making content.
Thank you always for the support and interest in the work.
More to come for sure, just hang in there!
