Here's a look at what will be, tentatively, March's new fighter; the TE 72 Lancea (Latin for spear, or lance). As with the preview of the Sagitta, this is still somewhat of a WIP, but very much in the final stretch toward completion.
We have another fighter that's clearly part of the Stiletto design lineage and is arguably somewhat of a souped-up hot rodded out Stiletto Mk. II. Although, on closer inspection, you can see the Stiletto Mk. II and the new TE-72 Lancea, while sharing a lot of similar design cues are actually different from one another as well. This is also very much how real world military aircraft tend to evolve, iteratively.
The weather continues to be rather cold (it just hasn't really warmed up here in Michigan; ice storms, power outages, more damn snow, all the fun stuff) so once it warms back to something in the 40s, or higher, I'll be running test prints of this one to ensure it does print. This should make a really nice model with some aggressive lines and visual stylings. Once I have a successful, or unsuccessful test print, I'll post the photos of the result. Hopefully it does yield a good print because I'm eager to paint one for promotion.
More soon :)
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!
