Of course the pregnancy was inevitable with how they were sooo... frequently engaging. 😂The next chapter is coming together nicely and I'm looking forward to Lena's reveal to Kara, too. Andrea has her own set of issues which I'll delve into some chapters from now - tension will grow between her and Kara before it's going to diminish. And yeaaah, I can't wait for Andrea to find out, either! Totally, Kara and Andrea have been presented as opposites of each other, because I really want this story to involve that for Lena, where she gets this amazing partner after so many difficulties. That's always going to be the core of this story, because I feel like everybody has experienced some form of toxic relationship (whether it be friendship or romantic) and it just devastates and lingers - so I wanted hopefulness, positivity, & Kara to be the true ideal partner for Lena. 😊Thank you, I was hoping the ending would be optimistic & sweet. ❤️💙

I'll be pretty surprised if I finish this story before reaching maybe 500,000 words, no exaggeration. I think I'm at approx. 150K right now, to give you an idea of what I have in mind. I'm not going to be time-jumping through Lena's pregnancy or their relationship, even if there are small jumps here or there. I even had an idea to write an AU of BOE where Lena and Kara are closer in age and Lena's in her bad relationship with Andrea when they meet. It's safe to say I'll be writing this story for a while and I might even do some random AUs of this verse. 😂Thank you, and basically, yes, I want to deliver everything you said! 💙

You're definitely right about all of this with regards to the POV being limited to Lena. She still has a bit to learn about Kara, and you're totally spot-on with the fact that Kara is an amazing mate, but she's a whole person, too - so yes, other aspects will be explored further down the line. I love this one purely because it sometimes feels like Kara’s almost too squeaky clean perfect as a great juxtaposition from Andrea’s moustasche curling villain of sorts. It’s like a movie where everything’s lovely and Lena can have the space to worth through her trauma at her pace with the love and support she deserves while also having all the wacky ups and downs having kids means. (Also it’s just so nice to live in fantasy given how messy their characters are in canon). This whole chapter just squeezed me in a hug especially the end with Natty and story time 💙💙

All your work is great, but this one is such a joy to read. I could read these versions of the characters and this story for forever.

I'm curious as well. BOE is written from the perspective of Lena, the Kara we see is through Lena's eye. Given Lena's past experience and their relationship being new, Kara is perfect, wonderful by Lena's standard. I'm not saying Kara is not perfect or worderful, she is all of those and more. As their relationship matures, I do wonder if there will be other aspects being explored, the tension, the shadow, the trauma on both parties. But whatever cliterature decides to I do, it's going to be wonderful, and I'm just happy she continues to write this story :)

I'm excited to see Lena experience pregnancy with Kara this time around bec after everything she has gone through, she deserves to be loved and pampered so much T____T I'm also looking forward for the kids' reaction about this.

Honestly if you kept this story going in perpetuity I don’t think anyone would be mad 😂 in all seriousness, I love reading about Kara and Lena’s crazy antics and about how their relationship has grown and matured with time. I completely agree with Lena that Kara being so engaged in raising her kids is one of Kara’s most attractive qualities. I cannot wait to read Kara’s reaction to Lena’s pregnancy and I hope you continue this story just so we can see Kara doting on Lena throughout her pregnancy. Hopefully Lena can finally accept that she is worthy of all of the love that Kara gives her. Thanks for another wonderful chapter ❤️

I always forget that I need to Shift+Return. Addendum to previous comment: Despite my dislike of how selfish Andrea is, Kara is the absolute opposite and it's so wonderful watching her relationship with Lena grow. The confirmation of Lena's pregnancy was the opposite of a surprise, but it's so fantastic. Kara is going to be SO happy, and it's beautiful to watch Lena settle into the knowledge that she can trust in the happiness of her future.

I want to punt Andrea like a football 99% of the time, and this chapter was no exception.
