Quick check in...

As noted in the last upload post, while I still produced work, 2020 wasn't remotely as productive as I would have liked it to be. I will be far busier this year, including more pending freelance (so I will be doing the best I can to juggle contract work with Patreon posts). Since pretty much switching to Clip Paint I've found myself making Photoshop and Clip Paint versions of various pieces because the two programs (to a large degree) don't seem to fully play nice with one another (PS filters get killed by Clip paint, Clip Paint dodge filters don't translate with the same punch in PS, text doesn't like to move back and forth between the two with original formatting, etc). This has resulted in more duplicate template files (files I use to drop art into with a formatted text template) than I'd like, some useful, some heading to the trash can. I'm currently going through a lot of 2018-2021 files to streamline how they are organized to make everything smoother this year.

More work is indeed coming. Here's a preview of one of the new Clip Paint new color passes of my prior manga page Indus Street View series. The originals never quite had the punch for me so taking a second look, this time in Clip Paint, was just what they needed. I'm finding that Clip Paint is what I've been wanting in a painting program (from my perspective) for decades.

I thought I had posted the originals here but... apparently not (Patreon's lack of any genuinely useful organizational tools for back catalog posts still give me a headache), so I might just bundle them with the new versions, as they drop (the preview version above will drop in the next day or so). In the future I might just remove the back catalog posts and rotate them in and out from time to time. For now though, the entire back catalog of posts will stay.

While I do have additional pending freelance there will be more stuff dropping here soon to get back to a more regular posting schedule.
