Weathering extraordinary times...
Added 2020-04-30 15:53:05 +0000 UTC Apologies for the late attention for the page for April, it's been quite the 2020 so far... not the 2020 we all hoped for or expected. And for God's sake... toilet paper? Really? I would have never guessed that would be the thing in the "apocalypse", this isn't V8 shiny.
It's been a pretty frustrating month as far as producing art. I had been having random blue screen issues with my somewhat new rig (well a year old now) and, oh yeah... the fact we're in the middle of a pandemic apocalypse probably didn't help either because, while it's covered by extended warranty sending the entire thing out for a minor failing part is untenable in the middle of all this (which is the only way they will service it). While it may seem like I jest calling this an apocalypse, I'm not diminishing the gravity of this crisis, these are unprecedented times and everyone's just trying to get through this terrible mess intact and whole. So many of us have had real world stuff to deal with that is far more serious than the fun stuff, like doing cool sci-fi stuff or fun pin up girls.
At the end of the day, I just wish everyone well, to remain safe, and the best possible through these difficult times. If anyone has to quit the Patreon (what few of you there are at the moment) due to financial difficulties because of this crisis, I sincerely wish the best for you getting though all of this. You can always come back at a later time if you really enjoy my work and wish to support me. Take care of yourself first if you have to, it's far more important. That said, if you wish to continue to support the work I'm immensely appreciative and I'm not walking away any time soon.
The good news is, after much hair pulling, I did figure out the issue with the computer and it's stable for now (need to replace one of the fans on the liquid cooling unit though I'll likely replace both or just get a new unit entirely. using a regular small fan blowing into the top and that's doing the trick to avoid overheating issues for now) so I'm behind on posting. I also look to be weathering this all without going under financially but that doesn't mean I'm stepping away from Patreon, every bit of support is still important. April was getting the ducks lined up to get through all of this, now it's back to making art. New work is on the way to catch up. Again, sorry for the radio silence but it's been a real world first month but now I can get back to doing what I love to do with some peace of mind.
Always, thank you for the support and stay safe everyone!
