Three long hours in the Fortress of Solitude left Lena with chattering teeth and bluish lips. The numbing cold was welcome at first until a tear froze on her cheek and then her eyelashes began to frost. It took her a few minutes to realize that the tint to her skin was not from the luminous ice crystals around her, but even then she was reluctant to step away from her work.
She settled for quick fixes to the issue – for a parka with a lined hood, a space heater, and a large coffee that she chugged before she resumed laboring over a dozen mechanisms.
Kara’s final message played on loop in the background, the hologram ever watchful as she spoke from the heart.
My name is Kara Zor-El. I began my life on Earth after the destruction of my own planet, Krypton. In my short time here, I have defended human kind from a number of threats, and each time that I’ve succeeded in my task, it was because of the greatest power in the universe.
I am not talking about my own powers as a superhero. I’m talking about love.
Lena could feel the chill of her surroundings in her bones, but she shivered for another reason altogether when Kara said the word love.
I have known so much love since my arrival here. The love of a mother, who gave me the normal childhood I didn’t know that I needed. The love of a sister, who has dedicated her life to protecting me. I’ve made so many friends who have supported me even when everything has seemed hopeless.
Finishing off another robot, Lena paused and glanced up to stare at Kara’s holographic. She had committed the part that came next to memory, but even after so many re-plays, it still hit her the same.
I’ve even been fortunate enough to have fallen in love with someone, who I am now entrusting to save the day with or without me. She is the smartest, most compassionate person I know, and I believe in her.
Lena lifted one of her bots and tucked a note along with a packet of chocos into the tiny compartment on the top. She blasted it with the phantom zone projector, then loaded another flying robot with gifts and repeated the process over again.
The zap of the device was loud in her ears and Lena screamed with the sound until all of her little robots vanished across time and space with the press of a button. Kara’s last words filled her silence afterwards.
I know you will honor me in so many ways. You have love and goodness inside every one you, and you are all my heroes.
Across the reaches of space, in a void of time, Kara ran through the blackened crags of the Phantom Zone to find refuge from the assailants that detected her from the moment of her arrival. She ducked low against the cliffs, exhaling a cold breath into the air before she tried to scrabble up to a safer place in the rock’s surface. Her fingers found purchase, but she dropped her hold as she heard the noise of something whirring behind her.
Kara stuck out her fist to strike it down and the device shattered on impact. It was afterwards that she noticed that it was L-Corp tech and scooped it up so fast that she snagged her cape.
“Lena. Lena?”
Talking to the device might have been pointless, but the mechanism inside of it was still going and it beamed light into her face to re-charge her waning energy. Kara opened the lid on top to discover a packet of her favorite cookies and a handwritten note.
Despite taking her fist to it, all of the cookies were intact, and Kara shoved one straight into her mouth as she pulled out the note and scanned the lines in Lena’s neat penmanship.
Kara,
I know this may not reach you, but I’ve input random sets of coordinates into the Phantom zone projector and I will send these out every day until I can establish a connection. I want you to know you’re not in this alone and I will never give up on finding you.
Alex wouldn’t allow any of us to listen to your message, but I have to confess I listened to it anyway. I continue to listen to it for comfort because I am afraid I will never hear your voice again. You remind me to hold onto hope and love.
I want you to know that I have loved you for a long time - maybe since the day you stumbled into that restaurant where I was having lunch alone. You not only showed me that friendship is worthwhile, but you brought me into your family. I realize now how callous I’ve been towards you over this past year and how much time I foolishly wasted when I could have just told you that I was hurt. Thank you for not giving up on me, despite the many times I refused your olive branch and your love.
In my life, there have been few problems I’ve struggled to solve until I met you. Learning how to give and accept love isn’t easy and I only hope I get the chance to try again when we are reunited. This distance is another hard problem, but I do know my heart is up to the challenge and I will not rest until I see your face again. Until then, I love you. – Lena.
Kara sobbed so hard that she almost choked on the cookie in her mouth and had to wipe at her nose with her suit sleeve. She would be tireless in her search to find another robot once her emotions quieted, but for the time being she was overwhelmed with sudden tearful hiccuping.
The wind was blowing and throwing up dust all around her, and she tried to climb to get to a vantage point on top of the cliffs. From up there she would be able to see where to go next.
Terrifying screeches echoed through the landscape the more she ascended, and the grey horizon inspired no hope as to an escape.
She came to a precipice where she would have to jump and took the leap with Lena on her mind. As long as she thought of Lena, it was easy to continue moving.
In the Fortress of Solitude, Lena was just waking from an unplanned nap. She jerked upright when she heard footsteps and for a delusional moment convinced herself it was Kara.
To her dismay, it was Alex, and when her feelings of disappointment registered, Lena’s emotions came out faster than she could stuff them into boxes. It was like a runaway conveyer belt of her feelings and she began to cry.
“Lena?” Alex asked in shock and approached her at a speed too quick to dodge.
Lena settled when Alex wrapped her up in a hug and suppressed the softest whimper in her throat. “I thought you were Kara. Maybe I was dreaming of the phantom zone. I’m alright.”
“No, you’re not,” Alex enunciated with a critical glance up and down at her, still shivering despite the parka that was swimming on her. “You probably have hypothermia. How long have you been here?”
“I was working on something to bring Kara home,” Lena whispered in self-defense, and raised her chin up like a willful child. “I figured if I used the Phantom Zone Projector to send a bunch of my robots into the Phantom Zone, maybe Kara would stumble upon them. Each robot contains a crystal and a small device I engineered to transmit messages back to us. I used a nonlinear predictive model—”
Alex cut off her exhausted rambling by raising her hand up. “We can talk to Kara?”
“In theory, yes, if Kara finds my robots,” Lena muttered with a keen awareness that Alex was checking out the huge pile of parts behind her. “I won’t give up.”
Alex pulled her into another hug, and Lena relented to it with shimmering tears in her eyes. She blinked them away because she needed to be able to see if she was going to continue building bots.
“Why don’t we set up your work somewhere warmer?” Alex offered and began lifting some of the mechanical parts for her.
At the same time, The Kryptonian matrix began to flicker and Lena assumed it was a malfunction until a hologram appeared.
Lena panicked that the crystal was going to play Kara’s message in front of Alex, but instead of that happening, it started to play a new one.
Lena, I found one of your robots. It’s badly damaged, but I hope this message gets through and that you will tell everyone that I’m alive. Unfortunately I can’t stay in one place for long. It seems that the Phantom Zone is home to actual phantoms. There’s so much we need to discuss and I—
The hologram flickered out with soft static and a scattered image of Kara until it faded entirely.
Lena’s heart plummeted as they lost the end of the message and she stared on in open mouthed devastation in spite of how Alex let out a hoot of victory.
“The robot must be faulty or maybe it can’t even survive in the Phantom Zone’s terrain. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that—”
The perfectionist streak in her went into overdrive as she lifted the nearest parts to reinforce the next bot.
“Lena, Kara is alive!” Alex spat and gripped her by the shoulders before she could scramble to fix the mistakes of the original model. “If we can just enact your plan, we can get her back.”
Lena had no idea how long that might take if the robots couldn’t survive the conditions inside of the Phantom Zone, and her current mood was teetering precariously towards hopeless. She should have been filled with joy upon receiving Kara’s message, but she was terrified because of what Kara had said about the phantoms.
“Kara’s in danger, and every second she’s in that place is a second too long,” Lena uttered as she tried to get control of her feelings before she had another outburst and cried again in front of Alex. “I just need to stay focused.”
“Lena, how long have you been here? When was the last time you even ate anything?” Alex whispered, like she was regretful about having this discussion with her. “It’s been two days since Kara disappeared.”
That rattled Lena, because she had thought it was still the same night, or maybe the next morning, but certainly not days later. She was too stunned by her own absentmindedness to think up a response, and Alex nodded like that was answer enough.
Before she could argue, Alex was prodding at her and contacting J’onn to bring Brainy in as her replacement.
Lena normally wouldn’t trust anyone to deliver her notes, but she had a neat little pile and they were all sealed.
Brainy lifted them curiously and squinted at one as if he could read the contents without opening them. “So, these all contain instructions for Kara?” he asked in a suspect tone of voice as he stuffed one into the top of a robot.
“Precisely, and I’ve been sending a lot of food.” Lena pushed a package containing a meal ration into the robot that Brainy was loading, along with two packs of powdered donuts that Kara liked.
Alex dragged her off before she could remind Brainy of what to do for a third time.
A minute later, Lena found herself seated awkwardly on the couch in Alex and Kelly’s apartment. Kelly brought her pillows, blankets and an extra towel while Alex made her a bowl of soup.
“Figured you can’t go wrong with chicken noodle,” Alex explained and passed over the meal with a small smile.
Lena eyed the hot food in her lap while Alex and Kelly stared at her in worry. She sensed they had unspoken questions, and that made her act all the more awkward as she picked apart the bread Alex had placed at the side of the dish.
“I’m going to head back to to work with Brainy and J’onn,” Alex announced as soon as Lena brought the spoon to her lips. “Try to at least get a few hours of rest before you join us again.”
Alex conveyed a gentle warning without putting it into words and then departed with an anxious glance at Kelly.
Though Lena had interacted with Kelly a few times both before and after her falling out with Kara, it was strange to be sitting across from her now with the distinct feeling that Kelly was observing her.
It occurred to Lena that should probably say something about Kelly and Alex’s hospitality, though what came out of her mouth once again proved her inability to function like a normal human being. “Why are you being so kind to me?”
Kelly smiled at her blunt and weird question and shifted over to sit on the couch with her.
“Because you’re our friend, and because you mean everything to Kara.”
Lena rubbed at her eye where she sensed tears might spring up at any second, but she managed a tight-lipped smile for Kelly. She swallowed down the rest of the soup and Kelly left with the empty bowl to allow her to get some rest.
After setting her Superwatch to wake her in two hours, Lena curled on her side on the couch and hugged a pillow until sleep overtook her. It was such a short nap that it felt like blinking, but she reached for both of her watches and returned to the Fortress of Solitude in time to hear another message from Kara.
Lena, I managed to find a second bot, but it looks like the creatures that live here got to it first. I don’t have a note this time. I would try to describe my surroundings now to help you pinpoint my location, except everything here looks exactly the same. It’s all craggy rock and dark terrain. There are high winds and dust and I can barely see where I’m going, but I’m on the hunt for your robots. I will find one that isn’t half destroyed. I am going to do everything I can to escape.
I know I was frantic when I sent my first message. I didn’t even get the chance to respond to your letter, but I want you to know how I feel about you, Lena.
Lena chewed at her lip and blushed as Brainy and Alex’s attention swung to her. She was too riveted to the image of Kara to glance away for a second.
The idea of coming home to you is the only thing that’s keeping me going right now.
I should have kissed you before we enacted our plan. I just didn’t want to upset you and make you feel like it was the end. That’s why I left you that recording, in case the Kryptonite finished me and I died without getting to tell you that I’m in love with you. I don’t think it’s fair of me to give you hope in case I never get to hold you, but I can’t keep this to myself anymore. I love you.
I wish things were different, but we’re going face even more threats together. We might come close to losing each other a thousand times, but I can’t let fear stop me from sharing my true feelings for you. I want a future with you, Lena. I want to wake up each day knowing that you’re mine and that I’m yours.
There might have been more to Kara’s transmission, but it crackled out and Lena hung her head as Alex stared at her with a perplexed expression on her face.
Lena hurried over to the place where she had been penning her notes to Kara and tried to jot down a response to the recent message. She didn’t even think about the words, just let them flow in a way that was not at all like a letter.
Kara,
I’m yours. If you are even able to sleep in that god awful place, I want you to wake with that thought in mind. I don’t care what threats we’re under because we’ll be together, and my love for you will always be stronger. – Lena.
She dispatched it straight away with some other small comforts of home and tried to ignore how Alex and Brainy hovered at her shoulder with questions.
“I’m going in to help Kara,” Lena declared after a long and uncomfortable silence in which she lifted her eyes to find Brainy on the verge of uttering another protest. “I know you’re going to say that I can’t, but I can, because two of my bots have reached Kara, and although I can’t pinpoint where she is due to the damage the bots sustained, I can calculate an approximate location.”
“Lena, you may end up putting yourself in needless danger,” Alex argued and squinted at her like she was seeing her as a different person, someone who Kara loved romantically.
“No, once I’m inside, I can use geomapping to figure out our exact location and then contact you using one of the kits I’ve been tucking into the bots I’ve been sending to Kara. It will take a little while, but it’s doable.”
Lena’s mind worked out the plan expeditiously, and she was prepared to be reckless and proceed without her friends’ agreement if that meant bringing Kara home that much sooner.
The Phantom Zone was Kara’s personal hell, and Lena wouldn’t let her experience that alone when she was capable of intervening. She grabbed the equipment she needed and loaded it all into a pack as Brainy and Alex exchanged nervous looks.
“We should send you in with a few weeks’ worth of rations in case anything goes wrong,” Alex insisted and pitched in with some reluctance to help Lena gather up the supplies she might need. “I could come with you. Maybe it would be safer with two of us.”
“Then who will be here to give me support on the outside?” Lena asked as she lifted her bag onto her shoulders and took a little breath. She tried to imagine the look on Kara’s face when they saw each other again.
She focused on that and that alone as she stepped in front of Brainy and handed him the Phantom Zone Projector.
“Lena, I’ve always trusted in your plans, but I’m really not sure about this one.” Alex frowned until lines spread across her forehead and she moved next to Brainy like she was considering taking the projector out of his hands. “If you get hurt in any way, Kara will never forgive me—”
Lena signaled to Brainy to activate the projector, and then all of Alex’s rambling uncertainties faded around her as her molecules crumbed to anti-dimensional matter and re-constructed themselves in the pocket universe of the Phantom Zone.
She materialized to form in a bleak landscape, and for a few seconds as she glanced around and clutched at her big hiking bag, she felt like a child again at the moment she had shown up to the Luthor household with nothing but her backpack. Alone, and in a place that she didn’t feel welcome.
Out of her depth and scared, Lena began to unpack her tools and started the geomapping process. She had remembered to put on her parka before leaving and she was grateful for it now as she pulled it tighter around her shoulders.
As she tinkered with the Kryptonian technology that allowed her to power her bots even in such a remote location of the galaxy, she heard a screech so frightening that it almost startled her into dropping one of the bots. She managed to set it off and activated another to search for Kara.
Focusing on the tech in her hands was the only thing saving her from panicking about the vast emptiness around her. She fiddled with her devices for an hour, and then another—and then another, all while listening to the high-pitched and inhuman sounds that echoed around her.
In hindsight, she should have been more wary when all of it stopped abruptly and silence came over the valleys and tall rocks, but she was relieved by the break in the sound. It gave her the chance to analyze her populating data uninterrupted, and she was still in the middle of that when a hand slipped onto her shoulder.
At first, she glanced up and saw Kara – perfect, bouncy golden curls and the widest smile of affection, but then the rest of Lena’s senses kicked in and she realized there was a distinct lack of other familiar details, like the scents that often surrounded the Kryptonian alpha.
Lena forced her eyes shut despite her fear, and when she opened them again, she found herself face to face with a pale and mangled-looking being. A phantom.
With a shriek on her lips, she crawled backwards through the dirt and grabbed the first blunt object from her bag – which happened to be articulated robot limb. She normally could put up a good fight, even when startled, though she felt an uncomfortable sensation in her head and gave up as the phantom climbed over her. That might have been the end of it if not for a burst of blue-white rays that came from Kara’s eyes. Kara seared the phantom with laser vision and dragged it off of Lena, then swung around to defend her from a whole group of phantoms.
They flocked around like a murder of crows in their black capes, revealing their scary features as they shrieked in unison. The deafening sound disrupted Kara, but she was powered up from Lena’s bots, and she struck at two of the phantoms to shock them out of their strange chorus. Kara hurried to scoop Lena up with all of her equipment and belongings, and then they were flying over the barren wastes of the Phantom Zone.
“You saved me, and here I was coming to save you.” Lena placed her hands on Kara’s face and stared into her eyes and their mouths met for the very first time as she felt their descent pleasantly in her core.
“Well, a good girlfriend always reciprocates,” Kara replied, not only bold enough to throw the word girlfriend around, but also to initiate another kiss that made Lena forget their surroundings.
There was none of the shy awkwardness she expected to feel, just a natural lust and love for one another and an instinct to express it immediately. She started to unbutton her top as Kara’s mouth moved to her neck and showed no signs of stopping at her breasts. Kara was a little clumsy in getting her bra off, but didn’t hesitate to touch and kiss as soon as the material was gone.
“Should we be doing this here?” Lena whispered, hesitant to pause when Kara popped her lips around one of her nipples and gave it a firm suck. “Fuck, Kara.”
“You tell me,” Kara moaned into her breasts, gripping them both like she might just risk both of their lives if she could continue. “I know you have a plan.”
“I’m currently geomapping the terrain so that I’m able to pinpoint our exact location, and when I do, we’ll be able to contact Brainy and get him to open a portal,” Lena blurted, her voice ascending in pitch as Kara’s mouth returned to her nipples, giving each a fair amount of attention. “Oh wow, you’re really, really good at that—”
Kara traced around her areola before flicking at her nipple with the tip of her tongue and Lena slipped open the zipper on her jeans with her mind made up. She stared into Kara’s eyes with fascination as the alpha kissed and tugged, both relaxing and arousing her. After a little while, Kara shimmied her out of her jeans and wet panties. They both became shy for a few seconds as Kara adjusted the super suit to free her erection and then guided Lena down to sit in her lap.
Lena’s breasts were right in front of Kara, who took full advantage and sucked them with a quiet groan of wonder.
“I always knew I wanted to do this, but now that I’ve seen you topless, I’m addicted,” Kara admitted with a bashfulness that soon went away as they both became very aware of how they were seated.
Lena could feel the sturdy push of Kara’s thick cock between her pussy lips. It felt deliriously good, and it ached as they took their time, both of them delaying the inevitable pleasure of their first sexual experience together. Her cunt dripped and she bit her lip as she noticed the pale slipperiness of it, and how the whitish strands clung to the blunt head of Kara’s cock. It meant that her heat would be soon, and she knew that Kara’s alpha was conscious of that and taking a deep satisfaction from the sight of her silken wetness.
She had never been with anyone, let alone an alpha during a heat cycle, and her face colored with a light rouge as she recognized she was going to have Kara’s bare cock inside of her.
“You’re close to your heat, Lena,” Kara acknowledged out loud and angled her hips to raise Lena higher and glimpse the sensual proof of that. “You’ve never had sex anywhere close to your heat cycle.”
Lena had confided all of that in her best friend plenty of times when she drank too much wine at girls’ night, because it was always easier to let her guard down and chat with Kara afterwards. Kara seemed ready to slow down until Lena placed both of her hands on the alpha’s shoulders to get her full attention.
“This feels right, Kara,” Lena insisted and with a subtle but suggestive move of her pelvis, she made the alpha groan. “I want to do this with you.”
Their eyes connected as Kara’s hands slid down onto her hips. The smallest shift was all they needed to introduce Kara’s humongous swollen tip to Lena’s luscious opening.
Lena expected some internal resistance as Kara’s cock breached through her contracting, tight pussy, but the feeling of it was the best pay-off for the years she spent pining. Her cunt took the intrusion of Kara’s shaft until her inner lips strained from their spread. Kara would have to thrust to push the rest inside of her, but she heard a groan of utter delight from the alpha.
“Oh, fuck, wow, Lena, look at you,” Kara marveled, still half agape as she reached out to rub at Lena’s exposed clit.
“You curse?” Lena choked in surprise, because the worst she had heard come out of Kara’s mouth was Oh darn and other dated phrases from the fifties.
“I mean—sometimes,” Kara replied, cute and sheepish and suddenly apologetic until Lena smothered her with a kiss that took away that momentary embarrassment.
“God, I love that, I want to hear all kinds of filthy things come out of your mouth,” Lena demanded, but some of the forcefulness of her statement was diminished when Kara pushed a little inside of her pussy. She was pressing her knees against Kara’s legs without settling down and her cunt tensed as she tried to sink down another inch. Her omega wanted all of Kara’s cock to stuff her full, but it needed the practice that came from lowering herself onto it and lifting herself up.
“You want to hear me talk about fucking you?” Kara asked and held Lena at the waist as she eased into sex.
“Absolutely, Kara, please be vocal about it.” Lena moaned as she considered how fortunate she was to have a best friend who was a good match for her in every way. The fact that Kara wasn’t shy about talking to her was a wonderful surprise.
“What else do you need, Lena?” Kara questioned in a low tone of seduction, and Lena pushed down to take more of the alpha’s cock, her cunt leaving it very wet as she began to move at a more consistent pace.
“Call me a good girl,” Lena whimpered, her lips pouty and parted as she satisfied her libido and rode Kara’s cock.
“You’re a good girl for taking my cock, Lena,” Kara husked and urged Lena’s hips back and forth before guiding her in a better up and down. “You want it deeper in your pussy, don’t you?”
“Yes, Kara,” Lena gasped and whined as Kara saw fit to make that happen by pulling her down to wholly open her cunt.
“Good, I’m going to take over,” Kara directed and rocked her hips for her, then raised her up with super strength so that Lena was positioned to take fast upward thrusts. “This is better, isn’t it?”
“It’s the best feeling,” Lena breathed out and held her thighs wide apart as Kara’s fluid and speedy strokes really hit deep. “My pussy is so sensitive and wet.”
“I know, Lena. You’re a good girl for letting me fuck you right before your heat.” Kara’s short breaths had nothing to do with exhaustion and all to do with excitement as she pounded Lena’s cunt. “You deserve to be rewarded for that.”
Kara cradled both of her ass cheeks and bucked into her with super speed. The furious thrusts were so sensuously pleasurable and Lena whimpered along with the hardcore sound of their sex.
“Oh Kara, oh fuck,” Lena whimpered, gritting her teeth for a second just to be jolted out of that by their rapid rutting. “I feel like I should be ashamed of how eager I am, but I’m not.”
Kara shook her head at that and lifted her chin to look right at Lena as she uttered, “No, Lena, you’re so sexy, and I’m so privileged to share this with you.”
Smoothing her hands up Lena’s back, Kara slowed her down to a rock and let her feel the extent of her own fullness. Lena threaded their fingers together and begged with small whines for Kara to give a much rougher battering to her cunt.
Her glossy natural cream was all over and lubricating the fast-quickening slams of Kara’s length inside of her. She brushed her fingertips over the hard buds of her nipples as the head of Kara’s dick rubbed deeper and into the delicate places that pleasured her most. That inner velvet spot felt so good with Kara’s cock sliding into it, and she arched her back. Her subtle bend made it better for them both, and her pussy relinquished all tension for a moment and relaxed to take the pounding it needed.
“I love that you can take so much,” Kara groaned, and Lena could feel a second pulse in her clit, her tension returning and then crumbling in an instant as she trembled in orgasm.
As her inner channel spasmed, she felt a sudden twitch along the bottom of Kara’s shaft and then seed pushing rapidly into her vulnerable cunt. With a long moan and a growl that must have come from baser instinct, Kara moved them both onto all fours and Lena whimpered as the alpha entered her from behind.
It gave Kara greater control and range of motion, and Lena felt the flex of muscle in every hard thrust between her thighs. Her pussy was even more sensitive than before and Kara needed to place a hand over her mouth to quiet her vocal whimpers of enjoyment. She kissed Kara’s palm in gratitude and shut her eyes to limit her senses to touch and scent alone.
Lena wanted to commit every bit of it to memory, their lust and vigor and the love that was the rarest feeling in her life. She wanted to crystallize it and keep it with her always for whatever came next.
“I used to dream of having you in heat, Lena. Every time you confessed you never had an alpha, I’d fantasize that you were holding out for me.” Kara nuzzled into the back of her sex tousled hair, and kissed at her elegant shoulders and neck.
The cadence of Kara slamming into her was perfect and breathtaking and Lena balled her fists in the Super cape. Her knees chafed on the thick and protective material, and she had to wonder if she would ever be able to look at it again without remembering how they rutted on top of it.
“If you had kissed me even once, I wouldn’t have held out,” Lena muttered, her melodic voice soft and seductive, if a little chiding. “I would have invited you into my bed.”
Kara might have assumed it was the special circumstances that made Lena receptive to risky behavior. Lena could think of plenty of other times when she wouldn’t have hesitated to experience all of this with her best friend, even without this many emotions behind it. She blushed in the face and all down her chest just from acknowledging that to herself – that she wouldn’t have just slept with Kara. If Kara wanted more from her, it would have required minimal persuading.
“I would have let you come inside of me back then,” Lena admitted and her breasts jostled from harder thrusts that were proof of how much Kara liked the idea of that. “If you asked to knot me, I wouldn’t have denied you. I’ve wanted you to fuck me for a long time.”
“Would you deny me now?” Kara asked, her cock thickening at the base from the mere implication of knotting Lena.
The girth stretched Lena’s inner lips with a forceful heat that continued to expand and fill her. She was intrigued by how it enlarged inside of her and she encouraged it by bending forward.
“No,” Lena whispered and leaned onto her forearms to present her cunt. “You know I won’t.”
The beginnings of the knot didn’t slow them down, and Lena’s warm liquid silk wrapped around it. Her mouth kept opening in partial whimpers that still hung on her lips even as she remembered to stay quiet. They both started to pant heavily, grunting and rocking together in pursuit of the same goal. Kara’s thighs slapped into her backside and the engulfing sensation of release brought Lena to a loud, moaning climax.
As soon as the twitching in her muscles subsided, Kara turned her onto her back and slid so deep inside that Lena was startled by feeling the alpha’s full weight on top of her.
“I’m going to come,” Kara husked as if that wasn’t obvious, and clasped the back of Lena’s head to bring her in for a kiss. “I’m so grateful you’re letting me knot you. It means something to me, Lena, and I’m not just saying that so you won’t change your mind.”
Kara hooked both hands under her legs and held her in a position that tilted her pelvis upwards. She could feel the steady thrust of the knot, and Kara slammed it in as seed shot out of the tip of her cock. It splashed onto Lena’s cunt, but most of it pumped inside close to her cervix. They went still this time as the knot prevented it all from running out of her.
As Kara convulsed almost electrically, they found a way to lie down that was cozy. Kara draped an arm over her and Lena discovered a new peace in the alpha’s eyes, which were like tranquil planets seen through a telescope. So blue, so full of life that Lena was amazed and silent, basking in Kara’s gentle touches and kisses.
“You have beautiful eyes,” Lena reflected out loud and watched the cerulean shift with Kara’s emotions.
“You have beautiful everything,” Kara sheepishly blurted out and hid her embarrassed smile against Lena’s neck. “When we get home, I’m taking you out for dinner, and then we’re going back to my place and I’ll give you the best massage.”
Lena chuckled and swiped a few strands of blonde hair away from Kara’s cheek so she could stare up at her. “That isn’t bribery, right? What do you want in exchange?”
Kara played all innocent and Lena grinned and lifted an eyebrow at her in teasing criticism.
They were so blissful in those moments, and Lena knew they would have many more to come. For the time being, they rested together as her geomapping devices finished up their work and activated the protocol to send their coordinates to Brainy.
“We’ll be home soon,” Lena whispered with a glance towards the beeping device that announced her clever plan was about to save them.
Kara’s knot had softened enough for them to separate and Lena sat upright to grab her bra and other clothes before she gave any of the Super Friends an eyeful.
Compared to her, Kara was much faster to dress and standing to attention like she had the same fears of everyone guessing that they had spent hours in the Phantom Zone messing around.
“Do I look presentable?” Kara asked in her heroic pose, and Lena beckoned her forward to wipe some of her lipstick off the Super’s face.
“Now you do,” Lena teased and went over to pack up her gear and to make use of a crystal to send a message to their friends. She was so preoccupied by that that she didn’t see the darkness come over the horizon, or how Kara flung herself into danger the second she spotted the phantoms with their gnarled faces.
The portal back to their Earth opened in the midst of the chaos, and Lena turned as one of the phantoms let out a different kind of shriek that changed Kara’s eyes from that beautiful blue to silver.
Lena wouldn’t stand for it, and threw herself at the phantoms - not as strong, but still distraction enough to severe their hold over Kara.
Alex and Brainy were on the other side of the portal and ready to pull Kara through, but one of the phantoms grabbed Lena and she became dead weight in its arms. She felt an intrusion in her mind like hot steel, obliterating her moments with Kara, all of her precious memories and feelings.
“Kara,” Lena whimpered one last time before that name meant nothing to her.
She thought it was all over when the shrieking became silence and the vast void of the Phantom Zone faded out around her. Oblivion began when her eyelids fluttered shut, but then she awakened in a room with eggshell white walls.
Lena’s face was against a scratchy pillow, and vases of flowers sat on a cart next to her bed that propped her halfway up. There was an IV attached to her hand and she stared down at it as she tried to remember what happened to her.
She had spent the morning packing boxes and shoving them away into storage in preparation for her move to National City – but that didn’t make any sense, because the logo on the door to her room said she was already in a National City hospital.
All of this perplexed her until she noticed a familiar caped hero sleeping next to her bed.
“Lena, oh thank Rao,” Supergirl gasped out in relief and embraced Lena in a comforting hug that unnerved her on a subconscious level. “I was starting to worry I had lost you, but I knew you would pull through. Everyone will be so relieved when I tell them you’re awake.”
“They will?” Lena uttered as she subtly pulled the blanket closer and covertly pressed a button to alert a nurse that she was awake.
“Yeah, they’re all so worried that they haven’t left.” Supergirl motioned to the door as if she expected someone to walk through it at any moment.
Lena stared back at her in bewilderment and Supergirl’s smile melted away faster than ice cream in summer.
She wondered if the crinkle between the hero’s brows was a sign of distress and she squinted when the silence between them lingered.
“Lena,” Supergirl whispered, her pheromones suddenly vulnerable and tentative. “Do you know who I am?”
“Of course,” Lena shyly blushed and held out her hand to formally greet the Girl of Steel. “It’s an honor to meet you, Supergirl.”

At first I was like, this is genius! Why didn't they send robots in the show...and then you ended it like that and my thoughts switched to evil genius! Thanks for sharing ;)

2021-04-10 06:55:10 +0000 UTCThis might be the most angsty thing I've written on here.
2021-04-10 02:04:01 +0000 UTCI knowww.
2021-04-10 02:02:47 +0000 UTCErm ouch 💔
2021-04-09 13:07:27 +0000 UTCI have a fix in mind! I don't even know how I ended up with this plot, but the end totally wasn't pre-planned. I'll blame the music I listened to at the time and the fact that I figured the phantoms would have a mind wiping ability. Hopefully my muse will be cooperative and I can put together another chapter as quickly as I wrote this. As for what happened on the show - Kara created some kind of message that Alex wouldn't let the group listen to, but I have no idea if it was a hologram. I didn't actually see this week's episode so I'm not sure if that's answered or what. I've just heard this week's ep wasn't good. ☹️
2021-04-08 22:18:28 +0000 UTCRight????!

2021-04-08 15:41:24 +0000 UTCBITCH!!! Come back here right now and fix this! This kind of fuckery is for canon homie, this is my safe space my god. How could you wake up and choose violence 😤 on my tender heart 😭😭😭😭seriously this bashed me back into 2020 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾but I need parts 2-5 of them fixing the memory wipe and having their delicious heat sex. Also, because I don’t watch this dumpster fire of a show, did Kara legit leave a hologram message for Lena??? Did that shit really happen??
2021-04-08 11:26:50 +0000 UTCIf it helps, I was sad while writing at least half of this, and I listened to the song from 5x13's reveal (it's called "Chatting with Clark" from the Supergirl soundtrack) just to make the pain a little worse while writing that ending. 😂💔
2021-04-08 10:57:20 +0000 UTCI have some ideas for more... ! 😃
2021-04-08 10:48:26 +0000 UTCI honestly didn't even mean to. 😓I have ideas for more though!
2021-04-08 10:46:37 +0000 UTCI totally went to YouTube to look up a clip of Charlie brown/footballs. 😂That's so perfect. The phantoms inspired me. I have no idea if they're planning to make them capable of memory-wiping but when Kara's eyes turned silver, I was like... yeah! They can mind wipe, how do I use that in my fix-it fic? To make it all worse, apparently. Thank you so much - I almost stopped writing part way through because it made me sad too, but then the ending occurred to me and I finished it. I'm happy you enjoyed it in spite of all of the hurt. I'm definitely interested in writing another part to this!
2021-04-08 10:44:59 +0000 UTCI had thought the hospital scene would be a little bit hopeful, but probably not? 😓I have ideas for a continuation so that is very possible. Haven't seen episode 6x02 yet so maybe it'll spark ideas, too. I'm so glad you loved it despite the angst! You too, be well and stay safe!
2021-04-08 10:37:14 +0000 UTCI originally set out to write a fix-it fic and ended up with this. I don't know how that happened. 😂
2021-04-08 10:31:27 +0000 UTCI’m not usually one to comment, I typically leave a like and keep it pushing but this shit right?!? i- the audacity. the gall. how dare you toy with my emotions. i mean i know i know i’m paying for it, but please, be easy with my heart. /j
