Cosmic Clashes - Sneak Peek

Rating: ABO Dynamics, Alpha Kara x 2 , Omega Lena.

Description: During the crisis on infinite Earths, Lena saves 3 billion people from annihilation by transporting them to safety on the planet Hulme. Amidst the chaos, the people of Earth-38 herald Lena as their new leader, prompting the people of Hulme to forge an alliance by arranging a marriage between Lena and the beloved, egotistical god that rules over them all.

Landing on another planet should have been an opportunity to start over, what with the entirety of the human race depending on Lena, rather than condemning her for being a Luthor — but she wasn’t thinking about second chances, or how many people were now looking to her as their leader.

All she could think about was Kara, and how she wouldn’t have a home, or friends or a family to come back to after she finished up her special duties, assuming she came back at all.  No one had any information on Kara’s whereabouts in the greater cosmos, or if she had survived the destruction of Earth-38.

Lena would have to accept that she might never see Kara again.

It shouldn’t have been so hard, considering how angry Lena still felt and how she had planned to avoid Kara for the rest of her life anyway. She shouldn’t have been so devastated that she locked herself in her quiet room on the ship and drank until oblivion hit and she could no longer distinguish between the tears in her eyes and the blurriness caused by the alcohol.

Getting that drunk turned out to be a mistake, and not just because of how emotional it made her.

Had she not gotten so intoxicated, Lena would have been present for a discussion with the leaders of Hulme, the planet where they had emerged less than 24 hours ago. She would have also had words with Alex, who negligently made promises and compromises without thinking it through.

In short, Lena wouldn’t have found herself betrothed to a stranger.

“They said it was part of the peace agreement, uniting their people with ours,” Alex huffed some time later when she came to inform Lena about the terms of peace she was apparently tricked into accepting. “I didn’t realize they were talking about marriage!”

“Listen, I don’t care if you have to declare war with these fools, just tell them I don’t need to marry anyone to be a good leader,” Lena seethed, hating how she still sounded a little lispy from all of the Scotch that the people of earth collectively gifted her for saving their asses.

“Lena, we can’t afford to make enemies right now,” Alex argued and the hard line of her jaw softened as she seemed to take notice of the traces of tears in Lena’s eyes. She became choked up too and Lena could tell she was thinking of her sister, alone and adrift somewhere unknown.

Neither of them were prepared for Kara to come waltzing through the door of the ship, her arms laden down with what appeared to be junk. She dropped her stuff on the floor and her eyes lit up when she spotted the platter of food that the leaders of their host planet had sent to Lena.

Lena gaped at the Superhero and offered her a watery smile before she realized that Kara was acting strangely.

“Kara?” Alex blurted in shock and turned towards her sister, ready to run into her arms, until she too sensed that something was wrong.

“Yeah, what?” Kara asked as she selected a thick cookie from the platter, and it was because of her choice that Lena instantly knew this Kara was an imposter. Her Kara would have chosen a donut.

“I know it’s not customary for brides and grooms of your species to start cohabitation until after the wedding, but here on Hulme, we move in as soon as our mate has been decided,” Kara explained and threw herself down in a chair, putting her feet up on the nearest one opposite her. “So who is Lena Lu—Luthor, is it? I assume it’s you.”

She stared up at her long enough for Lena’s mind to catch up. This was clearly the alpha she was intended to marry.

Lena had zoned out, entering a state where all things were suspended, like being on the precipice of entering a black hole. The only difference was that she would welcome the torment of getting torn to shreds in a black hole compared to the fate of marrying Kara’s doppelgänger from another planet.

“So, let’s start the day off right with a foot massage,” Kara demanded and ripped off her boots, completely oblivious to how Alex gawked at her in disbelief.

“I’m sorry, but you look just like my sister,” Alex interrupted, taking a step forward to study the strange Kryptonian whose resemblance was uncanny.

“I am not massaging your feet,” Lena asserted, glancing down to where Kara’s toes were wiggling for attention.

“Come and sit on my lap, then,” Kara suggested with a soft jerk of her head to beckon Lena over. “I want to get a feel for you, and I’m sure you’re dying to get acquainted with the living god who’s going to be your alpha.” She spoke confidently, and leered at Lena the whole time, her attraction strong enough to make Alex visibly uncomfortable.

“Yeah, I’ll pass.” Lena dryly stated, and stalked over to the cabinet to pour herself a liberal glass of straight Scotch. She sent a murderous look towards Alex, who cringed in apology and shrugged helplessly at this creature who had her sister’s face.

“Let me be very clear,” Lena stated, pausing to take a sip of her drink, all in the hopes it would help with the pounding ache of her heart as she glanced at this very different version of Kara. “I won’t be rubbing or sitting on any part of you, and if you insist on staying here before the u—”

Lena choked on the word and swallowed another gulp of amber liquid that burned down her gullet. “Union,” she spat, her lips curling in disdain from having to acknowledge this awful arrangement, “Then you’d better get accustomed to that, because where I come from—”

“Where you come from doesn’t even exist anymore.” Kara callously reminded her, the sharp jut of her jaw as arrogant as her personality. She got to her feet so fast that Alex stumbled back, and then the alpha stalked towards Lena with narrowed, hungry eyes. “You’re on my planet, and if I tell you I want something, then you had better give it to me, because if you don’t, all those people you brought over will find themselves very uncomfortable and every single one of them will blame you for the misery they endure.”

Comments

Hopefully so.

Soon! :D

:D

Mon-El, who's that? :P While this Kara is rude and not likable, I think this is mostly shaping up to be an interesting story, at least what I've written so far. It's been fun, because now Lena has a version of Kara she can openly hate... but also she's mourning her Kara.

Oh this could be interesting

Interesting. Can’t wait to read more

Oh damn.

Woah!! This Kara is definitely on her high horse. Borderline on the scale of Mon-el and that is never good. Glad Lena isn't taking her shit. Since this Kara maybe didn't experience tough battles and is clearly use to getting things. Our Kara would have to show this doppelganger who is boss. Not surprise Alex isn't any help when it regards to Lena's well being. Epic fail on that as always. Truth is I have no idea how this will go since Lena hates this Kara already. Who wouldn't be when doppel Kara is being all Mon-el about things.😝
