Rocking Horse

Here's the finished FCFS-prize folks!
Big congratulations again to Svap, who managed to snatch the win JUST in time! :D

They wanted to see Ben in a rather interesting scenario, enjoying some wonderful rocking-horsey-time after a filling meal, wearing only the cutest of attires! ^^

And if you look closely, there's even a bit of his caretaker visible in the corner, ensuring that the human won''t forget to keep the horse moving, and most definitely having all sorts of things to say that totally aren't embarrassing or making the situation worse than it already is in any way shape or form! xD

This was very fun I must say, particularly because I realized I had never done a rocking horse scene before!

I had a handful of sketches at one point, but never ended up actually finishing any of those, so this was a welcome opportunity to make up for it, so I quickly drafted some sketches and this was the one I liked the most. I think I spent the most time trying to figure out what exactly to do with the horse itself.
There are SO many different types, colours and shapes, I really wasn't certain what to go for, but fortunately Svap had a somewhat concrete vision in mind and gave me a pic as inspiration, which certainly helped make the decision a lot easier.

Well, other than that not a whole lot to say! Fun little project, and a lovely little final piece for the month if you ask me :)

This now concludes the month pretty much, but I am already starting on the next piece, a loyalty reward, and afterwards... well, we'll see! Let's say I have a handful of potential surprises planned *wink wink*
