“What, why?”
“Because the babysitter just called. She won't be able to make it tonight, and your mother and I will be gone soon as well. We can't leave him here all by himself.”
“Seriously? Just put him to bed early or something, I'm late!”
“Come on darling, we can't do that, it's not his fault. Just knock on a few doors, let him say hi to some of his little friends, and bring him back when he's tired, okay?”
“Sigh, fine, whatever. You guys owe me something! Come on squirt, let's go.
We'll change you at the party. I have a feeling your babysitter might be there too anyway...”
Heyo folks!
This was an alternative sketch for my big Halloween pic, which I didn't end up picking in the end because I preferred the costume idea at the time.
Sort of felt like finishing it up now anyway though, so, here it is! Some late extra Halloween-stuff, because why not! :D
Really enjoyed working out the environment here, I had various different ideas at first but ended up liking this one the most, and I'm definitely a bit proud of the result ^^
Also wanted to start giving a tiny little bit of extra insight into some of the guys from my possible "Sportsboys" comic concept, so this felt like a decent pick.
I'm sure we'll be learning more and more about these characters before any actual comic pages happen in this manner, but I guess with the added text it's "almost" kind of like a comic page of sorts anyway, right? xD
