Restroom Changes

Hey you guys, here's the project I've been working on! :D

This is a special little piece for the lovely and amazing Joshua, who wanted to have a scene featuring none other than himself and a character from a popular series he likes! A character who looks very much like that one, at least xD

The character may or may not be a vampire, but that doesn't seem to keep Joshua from showering him with love and affection! (and baby powder)

It's always scary tackling scenes involving pre-existing/real characters, since I never know just how well I'll be able to capture they characteristic features without making them seem too “realistic” in my usual semi-realistic style.

So I spent an extra few hours sketching and making sure it all looked alright before even thinking about anything else, and I think it worked out fine ^^

From that point on I wanted to keep things simple but effective.
Since the scenario was supposed to take place in a restroom, I tried to find a balance between the cold and efficient interior design of such a place, while also making it seem warm and inviting.
I found this super pretty tile design and absolutely wanted to implement that, and it ended up being perfect for making the room look busy without actually putting any unnecessary stuff in it.

Also, little status update on my internet issues:

A technician will be here on the 5th, but from what I've heard and seen so far, the issue MIGHT actually require them to tear up a road to get to a broken wire, so I'm not certain that day will actually be the day it'll be resolved...
I definitely hope it's not actually anything severe like that, but it appears that's what my neighbors had to deal with recently, so, ugh.

So, for now, status quo:
If you notice any sort of delay or general inactivity from me, it's 100% because of this stupid connectivity issue!
The moment it's fixed I'll let you all know.
Until then I'll just keep drawing like I normally would, and upload everything I can with the few minutes of working internet I seem to get per day.

SHOULD I ever miss out on an upload and be gone for like a week or something, I will, obviously, upload multiple pieces at once when I'm online again, to catch up, guaranteed! I won't leave you hanging, ever!
