What a Year

Hüä everyone!

Oh boy, it's been a few rough days for me, but despite all the family-stuff going on I was FINALLY able to finish our keyword-pic just now!

Tried my best to pick some words that were concrete and mixed well with some others, as always, but since we've already had a christmas-themed one, I thought it's only fair to focus on the new-year-setting this time.
I may revisit some of the other words in the future though, there were a couple of really adorable ones x3

So here we have it, Ridgeback Dad and his human Benny, who kind of lost track of time as cuddles and snacks started happening, and didn't quite make it all the way to midnight.
Oh well, maybe next year, if they feel like it! xP

Fun fact: Initially there were no fireworks in this image!
The concept I had in mind at first was to depict the END of the year's transition, a moment early in the morning of the first day, representing the act of leaving a chapter behind and starting a completely new one without looking back.
But then our new friend Robert suddenly contributed a comment to the keyword-scramble, and it inspired me to go for this much more vibrant theme instead.
A good chapter ends with a bang, after all!

And I really love the result, so I hope you guys enjoy it as well! ^^

Will be tied up with some more stuff until the end of the month, but I've already spoken to the lovely Joshua and will begin working on his monthly thank-you-pic as soon as possible on the 1st.
It'll be a very cute and fun scene, and I'm already looking forward to sharing the result! :D


Well, here we are.

Seriously people, I can not explain how insanely grateful I am for the support you've all shown me this year.
It really is starting to feel like things are slooowly coming together, and shaping a completely new future.
I'm still scared, I'm still broken, and I'm still at the bottom.
But thanks to each and every one of you, I have not given up yet. I'm still around, somehow. And who knows. Maybe, in another year, I'll look back and wonder what I was ever worried about.

I wish you all nothing but the best, and I sincerely hope we'll see each other next year!
Lots of stuff is planned already, and if you've enjoyed the ride so far, I can just about guarantee that the year to come will be a great adventure!
