Boo

Hey you guys, here we have it, the finished piece from our keyword-scramble!

When you're out trick-or-treating, it's all fun and games, but you need to be aware of those dangerous moist leaves lying around all over the place, especially near stairs. Apparently Benny didn't heed the warning though, and had an accident of IMMENSE PROPORTIONS! :C
Or maybe that creepy wall decoration just spooked him. 

In any case, it's a good thing he's out and about with his personal boo-boo-inspector, who knows all the tricks on how to make it better. I have a feeling they're going to spend the rest of the night inside though, it's getting late anyway. And it'll be even later by the time Ben's not sobbing anymore.

Holy cow, this was easily one of the most time-consuming projects I've worked on so far. I spent so much time reasearching textures, getting the perspective right, fiddling around with atmospheric lighting and colours, and that scarecrow-decoration-thingy on the wall took as much time as a third character, as well as the interior which is hardly visible xD
I also tried out like 5 different costumes for Ben before finally settling on this one xP

It was an absolute blast though, just delightful to work on, and I'm really super proud of the result.
I enjoy playing around with stylized lights, and this setting in particular gave me lots of opportunity for that, which makes for a very calm atmosphere I think ^^

Next up will be another keyword-scramble, since that got the most votes in the poll, but I might put a small twist on it to keep things interesting ^^
That'll probably happen tomorrow, then I should have enough time to get the pic done just in time for November!
