Many people have been asking where the video and twitch content is.

Short story, due to multiple connections and meetings and several weeks of prep, I've actually been cast in a film, which will have a month of filming and then potentially a limited cinema release. This is of course very cool, but has taken time away from video creation.

Where content?

Thought I'd explain why videos are taking longer. Pictured above is '100 hours in Runescape 3' script, it is 30'800 words long so far...

Because that is about half the script.

Over the long term, and this channel is absolutely a long term focused thing, the longer, more in depth videos do FAR better.

This means weeks or research, filming, recording, script writing and editing. The same is true for the 'Josh Strife Plays' channel, the long form RPG reviews do better, and see...

Now the Insomnia Gaming Festival is over, video production will focus on the '100 hours in...' series.

While the 'Worst MMO Ever' and 'Was it Good?' series will of course continue, the success of '100 hours in Everquest' has shown me there is absolutely a demand for far longer, deeper delves into older MMO's.

Thank you for your continued support and patience while I moved house, it was a far more complex process than expected, and I still have many packed boxes to unpack, BUT the PC is set back up, internet is sorted and content for all channels will now resume at the expected pace, with 'Worst MMO Ever? - League of Angels Pact' expected for this weekend. :)

Does it get good 100 hours in?

The common, if often meme'd syaing in the MMO review space is 'it gets good 100 hours in', now no sane reviewer is going to have the time to play a game for 100 hours before writing a review.

Thankfully because of your support, I can try insane ideas.

The '100 hours in...' series will take a bit longer to make, but will allow for indepth dives into some of the more obscure mechanics in some well known MMORPG's, and we'll see if it does indeed, get good, 100 hours in. 

Rest assured, react content will NOT replace regular content

Any reaction vids, either to my own content or to others content (with permission) will be edited and uploaded from twitch to youtube.

This content will not impact the worst mmo ever series, or the retro was it good series.

All react content or uploaded twitch streams will be in addition to regular content :)

Moving House - content may experience a slight delay

The Tabletop Set is Done!

Just to keep you in the loop about content creation, a lot of conventions / social gatherings took place over the last month and will continue for about another week, then I'll be at EGX with the Session Zero crew running a live D&D game in London, it's unfortunate all these things happened so close together and disrupted video releases so much, once these commitments have been sorted, regular content creation will resume.

Covid over, hopefully

Thank you for your understanding over the last 2 weeks, I've been completely knocked sideways by Covid, but now things seem to be getting better.

The main channel has more 'worst MMO Ever' episodes to come, and more 'Dev Log' interviews, and I'm working on a big video to discuss the reality of MMO content creation with several other MMO youtubers.

At the start of December I posted about how I would be releasing fewer videos over the month and spending sometime with friends and family, your support has allowed me to take that step back from work and see the people important to me.

a few days behind schedule due to Illness

Hi All

Over the last week my partner came down with intense dental pain, she's been bedridden and unable to eat or sleep due to the pain, during this time I've been taking care of her and the dogs.

This does mean I haven't had as much time to play, write, record or edit, meaning videos may be pushed back a few days. I am working extra to pull those hours back now she is doing better, thank you for your understanding.

A new channel, expanding the gaming demographic

Hope everyone is well, want to share some plans for the future :)

While I love MMO content and will keep on making it, I do want to eventually push into more general RPG games, then maybe some retro gaming stuff, possibly replaying some classic games from the ps1 or N64 era.

Uploading these to the current channel would do 2 things;

1 - absolutely tank the algorithm rating, as the current channel is set solid in the MMO area.
