WIP mini update!

Hey guys! This is just a quick update on my progress on the minis but first I want to say that I hope all my U.S. based patrons have a wonderful holiday weekend!

As for the minis, it's amazing to see them start to "come together" at about the half way point :) My goal here is to have them all done by today (Saturday) so I can film my Monday video and have Sunday to be my first day "off" to relax in some time. Then, throughout the week I can start to actually make some videos out of these. If I stay on top of it ideally this means you'll be getting quite a few early access videos for a while from this batch :)

As far as batch painting them goes, it's going alright I guess. I'm still running into the issue where I'll need to bring paints out a second time though. For instance I started with black, but will need to use black again for the pupils, and I'm sure there will be continued touch-ups with many of the colors.  Overall, it's actually kind of difficult to do it in a "smart" way. On the one hand, painting as much of 1 color at the time you have it out is the best, but on the other hand you want to paint the most recessed portions first, and large areas before detail work. With multiple minis that might all be different. Perhaps on 1 it's recessed and on another it's an outermost layer and then on another it's just detail work.

And this isn't even getting into editing it all from video that's completely mixed. Currently I'm just dumping my footage in a basic folder but eventually I'll have to organize and file it all away. Boy does that sound fun! :P  On the home stretch though so really enjoying the progress I'm seeing. It's always great to finally see the miniature take "form" as you complete major portions of progress. :)
