HUGE Announcement!

Okay, so I kept getting asked if I was attending Gen Con this year by a few people in the industry and so I decided to check it out not expecting much. Needless to say, this happened:

Now since I don't live in Indianapolis, the entrance price is not the main cost by far. The plane, hotel, car and food are the real culprits (and that's not including anything I might actually WANT there).

So here's the thing. I'm going to run through my options here and see what I can do about attending Gen Con. If I do attend I'll put together some plans for a meetup where anyone else that happens to be there/close by can come by and hang out for a while. Obviously if I go I could make a lot of content for you guys including early preview reviews, interviews, a look at some prototypes, etc. but to properly do that I'll need some more equipment as well, namely a nice handheld microphone, another battery for my camera and better grip to hold the camera steadier.

So, that's what I'm trying to figure out right now and why I cannot confirm I'll go. Obviously I have some of the funds directly from you guys here on Patreon, but that's why my ask is this: do you want me to go to Gen Con and are you okay with Patreon money going toward the cost?

If the answer is yes, obviously any money put into Patreon will be used for that (in case any of you wish to up your pledge to help out - not something I expect from any of you since you all do so much already!). I'll put this to a vote here soon and it'll be mirrored over on my YT channel in case anyone outside of Patreon wishes to help out with this. Currently my total price to go is a bit over $2,000 not including equipment needs. Yes it's a lot of money but the potential to meet some of you, and provide some really cool and exciting content for you guys to enjoy is very enticing!
