3K subs!

In just 8 months I've hit 3,000 subscribers and 20+ patrons and I must say I'm blown away by all of the support everyone has shown!

I'm definitely a metrics guy and so I find it interesting to see the "snowball" effect. For instance, while it started off slow, I've now gained 1,000 subscribers every 2 months twice now, meaning 2k of the 3k came in the last 4 months!

So, what's next? I'd like to say "status quo" I have higher goals than that which I believe really keep me invested in the channel and add some variety that would allow me to switch up video formats to keep the creative juices flowing and provide a platform for more impact and more content.

We'll see where the next 2 months take the channel. All I can say now is how happy I am to take the journey together. Thank you very much for being an integral part of what I like to think makes this channel so great.

That's awesome to her and well deserved! I'm glad to hear you're quality stuff is being recognized more and more and I'm VERY glad to have you be a part of my journey as well. TBH, we're all in this boat together in a very niche (but passionate) area on YT so I'm glad it's not as nasty as I hear other groups are :)

Thanks a ton for that Andrew! Seriously, it means an awful lot to me. I've tried to increase my value both is "production" value but also in the quality of the content and information itself so it's great to hear that's been noticed. It takes longer, but I've found that speaking honest and passionately really help, so I've avoided anything I'm not actually passionate about and I've stopped doing full scripts that seemed less personable. That sort of growth is exactly what I'm talking about in this post and I hope all of you here can keep me on the straight and narrow as I continue to push myself further!

Glad to have you here as well Jason! Thank you very much for being a part of it! I'm really glad and thankful I can go on this journey with all of you as we continue to find common ground in our crazy/fun/weird hobby :D

Thanks a ton Manuel and yeah I completely agree. I think at first it's actually more about discovery than anything. For instance, looking at my graph, my first peak was with Rising Sun as I was the only one painting them. My second correlated to my start of KS coverage. Tha tbeing said, the other, smaller peaks are purely (I assume) from word of mouth and other campaigning I've done. Interestingly, each peak is higher than the last and the valleys never go as low as they used to which is the snowball effect in play. I think you guys have a lot to do with that! You guys share my passion and I really think people see that community. One key item I think helps is the fact that I actually care about the industry, not just my channel so I join many Facebook groups, BGG forums, and other Youtuber channels. My hope, is that others can see that passion and realize how real it is :)

Congrats, you put out great, easy to follow content. When I decided to back you here, I considered a whole list of Youtubers. Your videos are by far the best after looking at them all.

Congratulations and I'm happy to be here! Looking forward to more channel growth!

Congrats KoA! You've earned them! And yes, the snowball effect is real in any marketing campaign as "personal" referrals are the most impactful drivers to try new things.
